Hacking ntr boot will not work on 2ds

i bricked my 2ds a while ago and now i am trying to fix it with ntrboot. but when i flick the sleep switch to sleep mode and push the power button my 2ds won't turn on. because of this i can't use ntrboot. can anyone help me with this?

Hold power 3 seconds. Just follow the ntrboot directions.

i tried holding the power button from 3 to 30 seconds with and without the ntr boot combo and my 2ds still won't turn on while in sleep mode

Do the lights come on at all?

Do you know for certain ntr boot is properly installed on the card? Do you have another console you can test with?

Hold the combo without the power button, press power briefly, continue to hold the other buttons for a couple of seconds. If that doesn't work then either the card isn't flashed properly or one or more of your buttons aren't working.

i held the combo while in sleep mode the pressed power brefley but the power would not turn on. it only seems to turn on when the consle has sleep mode off. is it possible to use a magnet for the old 2ds?

while in sleep mode

you need to TURN OFF the 3DS to use the button combo

you cannot use the magnet method with a o2DS due to not being a clamshell with a magnet to detect the lid closure since there is no lid

what flashcard are you using, are you sure it's been flashed with ntrboot?

does the light turn on for a second then off?

i am using the r4i 3ds rts plus with the ntr boot switch set to n. and the blue light just stays off it does not come on at all.

ok when my ntrboot card is not inserted, and I press power while magnet is on (sleep mode) it will not power on at all
when i do the exact same with my ntrboot card installed (only using power button while in sleep) it will turn on
try place a piece of paper under your flashcard to raise the card up, blow it out a bit, play around it may be a bad connection

He might got one of those unrecoverable brick, like the MCU brick.

Multipoint Control Unit, short for MCU, basically it provide control services for the 3ds, If ntrboot cannot unbrick it , then you got one of those unrecoverable brick, what you did before it brick, do you remember?

you're probably messing up the steps
start over make sure all files are in correct order. this is the reason it doesnt work 99 percent of the time.

also i tried the peice of paper in the cartridge slot and it had no effect

how i bricked in the first place was i did a ctrnand transfer for a9lh then when it was almost done my consle died, bricking it.
