i have

IOS 53 needs to be patched with the Trucha Bug.

when i try doing that with dop-ios it fails.

Need to patch using a patched IOS... like CIOS 249. Also, the system menu IOS may need to be Trucha patched, if the version from ModMii is not already. This solution worked for me....

apparently i installed cIOS249 already, I still get a [FAILED] message on DOP-Mii when trying to trucha it, But when "New Trucha" comes up it says [DONE].. what does that mean?

Not sure.

Try using AnyTitle Deleter to remove IOS 53, then reinstall/patch with DOP Mii. Also, it might be worth running SysCheck to see which IOSs are already patched. IIRC, both IOS 53 and the system IOS must be Trucha patched.

Wiikey v1 firmware was released in late 2009 for 1:1 copies of NSMB which have intact BCA information. Altered copies can have issues.

Although it should go without saying DO NOT DELETE YOUR SYSTEM IOS.

Wrong. You don't delete any ios below 200 because most people are idiots and have no idea what they're doing so they delete the system menu ios when they don't have bootmii@boot2 and they get a full brick.

Deleting an ios below 200 is perfectly fine if you actually know what you're deleting and why.

Then it patched the Trucha Bug fine. Try to restart the game and see if it works.

I must warn you, if this doesn't work, DON'T try to install DarkCORP! N00bs are 100% of those who brick their Wii with it.

EDIT: So I guess this is it. The milestone I've been waiting for. My red ribbon, the quad digits...oh, I won't leave this forum anytime soon.
