You mean the automatic save is working for you in DK64?!

Yeah it works for me. Pretty much the only thing that don't behave like they should are the camera and for some reason i can't photograph the banana faries. Might have something to do with the camera glitch

Oh yeah those are GFX Plugin related issues, video plugins problems well known by now.
I'm interested in the save file though.
Could you post your DK64 save here, please?

this is the only file i have on my sd card, it must work.

Edit. It seems like i found out the solution to savingok DK 64. When i compressed the file attached to this post my game starte to fail to load for some reason but my progress was still intact i just couldn't save beyond that point. So what i did was just play around randomly and made a savestate on a random part of the game, i loaded the savestate and saved the game naturally and get back to the emulator main menu and it saved like any other game.

Funny enough I was just about to come and ask about an N64 Emulator! Wii64 seems so slow still, still on 1.1 as far as I can see?

Is NOT64 an unofficial update of Wii64? I'll have to give it a try, I'm trying to record some Mario64 but emulating it is a little slow when trying to record the screen wih camtasia at the same time... Weird.

Can emulate SM64 with only 5%gfx usage, but when camtasia starts it slows everything down hard! gfx usage all the way up to 95% XD Guess it's just the program and can't be helped...

ALSO QUICK EDIT: Can games be forced into stretched 16:9? I like them to fill the screen rather than just letterboxing the sides hahaha Thanks guys (Y)

Yes latest Not64 is a big update. I don't know why in your case, but i have completer Mario 64 and it runs absolutely perfect on my end.

Yes, from the video options iirc.

Thanks nakata6790 for that info!

What I meant by it's running slow is I'm using the Computer and Project64 to emulate the game which runs at 100%. It's when I start to record the Screen using Camtasia Studio that the game seems to be lagging, because the Screen Capture is taking alot of the Graphics Processing power for whatever reason :S

Anyways, as long as it's 100% full speed and widescreen using Not64 then I'll be happy

One final question, Where is the best place to find the latest version of Not64? I can only seem to find posts about it from 2012 :S or 'Second Release' which was this year in January, is that the latest?

If you have an nVidia graphics card, use Shadowplay, it's a lot better than that Camstasia studio crap lol. Or Bandicam, there's no problems with lag in those programs.

Thanks bro I'll check it out, nVidia is what I've got, GT705 to be precise. I'll check it out since Camtasia won't record the frigging Emulators if they're using OpenGL as the video plugin anyways...

That's funny, the compatibility list says to turn FB Textures on in order to fix the messed up text in the dialog boxes of Banjo-Kazooie, but when I turn it on, the messed up text is still messed up.

the only problem i had with banjo kazooie was the texture of the mole hill when the mole comes out it was a white coloured hill. maybe you should try a different rom!!

sucks there's no way to fix goemon's great adventure... also i'm having a hard time with GC and Wii classic controller input... but still this is a nice thing to have thanks to the makers.

I believe it has to do with the dynarec core, but given that there's a new version coming out, as confirmed by emukidid himself, it very well could fix it, but I don't know for sure. I hope so :P

Holy crap, that's great news!

Hey guys just put homebrew on my old Wii for the first time after following some old tutorials and they said to use Wii64. After finding this thread, everyone is saying to use Not64. I am planning to do the switch from wii64 to not64 tonight when I get home but I do have a few questions. I want to play Mario party, banjo kazooie/tooie, diddy Kong racing and mortal kombat. Would these games run smoothly without the flickering when using Not64? Also, I see that you guys said emukid was releasing something new so I'm excited for that but will that be an upgraded wii64? Thanks.
