So does it dock now?
I don't mean the esd device on the D+ and D- lines i mean the other one on the back.
It does dock now. I've got fast charging on my PD chargers and the Nintendo charger. And it docks

i have have the "exact" same beahvior. switch looks like it charges but actually it discharges. with the orig charger i get the charging symbol. everyother charger doesnt give me the carging symbil- i also replaced bq, pi and mt ics. also replaced the usb port.

What voltage are you getting on pin 22 of BQ24193 and what voltage have you got on the test pad just above BQ24193 test with the official nintendo charger plugged in.

5v. pin 1 has 15.

If that was at the test point highlighted with the red arrow, check the resistors that I've highlighted in green

the resistors have the same value as from a known good board. hte testboin delivers 2,3v.

OK I didn't think it would effect docking
Have you tried removing the esd protection device from the CC lines, which is just to the left of the port on the back side of the board.

the esd device wasnt isntalled on this board.

ignore the blackness on the caps. its just paint.

would be nice if you are still active and have an ideAS:
