Hacking Not booting up on m3

Hey,

Does anyone get this problem where the m3 does not boot up? My m3 was working fine for the past few months until recently it cant boot up. It freezes when you see the text "Not sponosored by nintendo."

I'm curious on why this happened, and would like to know how to prevent it.
