Hacking NOR or PSRAM

dont quote me on these but heres the simple answer to your question

NOR doesnt require power to keep data but is slower to read write too (eg. u can turn or ds off and it will keep data)
PSRAM is faster but requires power to keep data (have to rewrite data if turned off)

If your wanting to play a game for a while id use NOR Load once and it says there until u delete it

If im going to play a GBA on my 3in1 cart I use NOR

PSRAM is faster then NOR.

PSRAM is volitile memory, so the data is erased when you turn it off. But in 3-in-1 carts or whatever, it comes with a backup battery to store saves, which will ber transfered to your slot 1 on the next boot. (GBA EXPloader if you use that).

NOR is non-volitile, so data will not be erased if you turn it off. In fact, if you take out the cart and put it in a GBA, it will work just like a real game.

If you are going to be playing on game a lot, put it onto NOR, but if you're going to be going through a lot of games reasonably quickly, go with PSRAM.

I assume you're talking about EF 3 in 1? If so,
Use NOR if the game is 32 meg or if you'll play a game a lot.
Use PSRAM if the game is 16meg or less. (obvious but hasn't been said)
