Hacking [Noob] Some question before using ninjahax.

ok i did that and in the middle of downgrading an error occured and now i think its a partial downgrade :/ i tried loading the homebrew launcher again from cubic ninja but that gives an error again and asked me to switch off and on :/ so since its partial will browserhax work?

I think it will, but it won't be able to get am:u handle.

Partial downgrades occur when sysDowngrader crashes and it says 9.2 in System Settings. Just try to install it again. Plailect says browserhax'll work.

Enough of your system is downgraded that you need to use the 9.2 payload instead of the one you were using.

Yes.
I had my downgrade fail and used Ninjhax as my entry point; just clear the save (hold L+R+X+Y on the main menu) and reinstall with the 9.2 QR code.

While on 2.1? Only Nintendo N3DS is known to brick while on 2.1 if you put it to SLEEP mode. Switching off the 3DS does not brick it.

Well the guide only speaks of how it's unsafe to put the device to sleep mode so I'd say yes. Though admittedly I've unmounted my SD card while the console has been still switched on in the past and nothing's happened, so if you're afraid you could do just that. If you do unmount while it's on though, make sure you run the test to check that the SD card is not corrupted.

Tbh I never understood why the guide wants you to keep unmounting and mounting the SD card all the goddamn time. Why can't you just put all of the files into your SD card at the start of the guide and cut down the times you need to unmount significantly -_-

Actually I made a zip containing all files needed to complete Plailect's from a stock 10.7 O3DS/N3DS/2SD, just gotta get up with a way to "publish" it.

But like why can't the Plailect guide list at the start all of the files you need in a one big zip file (+ links for files available on torrent) and have us dl that and then unzip to the root of our SD card. As far as I can see, there are no "complications" for having all of the files in the root from the get-go so why is the guide made the way it is? It really lengthents the whole process of hacking when you spent 50% of the time pulling the SD card out and putting it back in, transporting files to and from the SD card -_-
