Gaming noob question: can i play pal games on my US wii?

cause there are no seeds for the US version of the game i want to download, but some for its PAL version.

if so, what are the differences between the two? different languages? screen size?

1) Different screen size than the US NTSC screen size.
2) More languages, often English, Spanish, German, French, etc.

Will not work unless you have a chip that supports all regions. Check the features of each chip for more details.

The best thing to do is post on the gbatemp release thread and ask "does it work on NTSC/PAL?".

Hell, do it a couple of times.

Judging on the fact that you say: "There are no seeds". That could either mean you want to grow games in a Greenhouse, or you use torrents.

If the latter is the fact, you can also use Usenet, then you have no problems with "no seeds".

You might have trouble with games that don't support 60hz.

Unlike Europe where modern TVs just about always do either 50hz or 60hz now, virtually none sold in the continental USA allow 50hz.
