What is the beta testers do??is it require to have a special skills on gaming and programming??
Beta Testers test games to check for any bugs or glitches before anybody else plays.
So in other words they make sure the game works before people get to play.
A beta tester isn't something you just do.
When beta testing, you have to test EVERYTHING.
The programmer probably has use cases.
Use cases describe what an application or game will do at what situation.
Looking at this use cases, you will have to make scenario's. And test EVERYTHING.
So it isn't really something you do for fun..
Well, they get to play with a buggy version of the game. Their job would be to play through the game over and over again, spotting bugs and attempting to crash the game on purpose just to find bugs.
They have to also spot typos (which is more important in rpg for obvious reasons) and any misspelling.
Well, knowing programming(that's what my teacher told me) does help but it's not necessary, since if u do know programming, it just makes it easier for u to know where the problem might be.
So, it's not exactly really fun, it's boring after u played through that area for the 20th time and you have tried something and bam, the game glitched up again and you have to report to the programmers.
