what cartridge? I have a lot and most recent than i have its Pokemon Rubi Omega and i borrowed it to someone. (I has a OLD3DS before this but its broken now... need hardmod and i dont know anyone than do it on Spain)

If you are able to use Browserhax on that firmware, see if you can get Decrypt9 to boot. If it does, I believe you should be able to use it to inject FBI into the Health and Safety app, then use FBI to install Sysupdater, then use Sysupdater to update to 9.2

Also there's not much reason to update because the version you are currently on (sysnand) is supported by rxTools, which works on systems from 4.1 to 9.2

Don't forget reiNand! It's somewhat easier to set up, in my opinion. rxTools seems more catered towards expirienced modders while rei seems mainly aimed towards those who just want their unsigned content easily.

That's true and all, but the OP only has an o3ds and not a n3ds for reinand.

Ah crap, I'm forgetting. Does AuReiNand work well without a9lh? I believe it works with o3DS.

If i read it correctly aureinand can be used without a9lhax. You just have to use the reinand.dat in your SD card instead if not using a9lhax.

Only reasoning behind suggesting reinand is because it's much simpler to install. I originally suggested rxTools since he has a o3ds but after it was pointed out that aureinand works on o3ds I figured it would be a good solution to someone just wanting basic cfw for gaming using unsigned cia files.

the problem its than un need a hax... and i dont find any hax for my 8.1. I read than all hax starts with 9.0 that its my main problem.

Yesterday i was thinking and i downgraded to 4.5 using Gateway downloader and i think i should install PBT-CFW for install in SYSNAND a update in CIA and then have a 9.2.

The problem its than i dont find any working tutorial for install DS exploit without flashcard because i have a CYCLODS but stop working at 4.3.

You can set up rxtools, inject FBI on sysnand, install sysupdater and use its devmode/pasta to update.
You don't need homebrew to set up rxtools

You can set up txtool without do a EMUNAND? bc that i was to try PBT... i only want legit cias.
