Hi all, I have a copy of Binding of Issac, it is the version 1.0
Version 1.05 is available.
I can download the update via the livearea update option.
Pressing to install after it downloads does.... nothing.
I have tried moving the folder from in BGDL to the Patch folder but that does nothing either.

Could somebody let me know if updates to NoNpDrm apps are still available to be updated via psn? Cheers

I just tested this myself for you. The Problem is on your side since for me its working perfectly...

Interesting :(
I noticed that the update should be fine on 3.60 as i notice the para.sfo sates 3.30 iirc
I shall see what can be done.

Not sure if it makes any difference but I am running on a PSTV with Enso and usbmc

Pressing the update button downloads the update.
Pressing it again after gets the small loading animation in the top left hand corner for all of 2 seconds and then nothing, no popup, no confirmation, nothing.

@westwood How did you go about doing it may i ask?
Just download or did you use the patch folder?

Thank you

I Just installed the game, downloaded the update and startet the game (Update will be installed then).
Im actually pretty sure youre problem is the usbmc. If i remember correctly i saw someone with a problem like this and they found out it was the usbmc. you should check reddit for it.

Edit: I was wrong. I found the thread about this and it was the pstv whitelist hack. To Install and download the updates you should turn of the whitelist hack. You should try that and then report if this worked for you :)

Shall disable whitelist hack and report back. Thank you for all the help so far people ^_^

*EDIT*

Can confirm that disabling the V2 whitelist using AntiBlacklist has let me update via livearea without issue. Thank you!!!
Binding of Issac Rebirth is now 1.05 and running as a NonpDrm app.
I have not had to re apply the v2 whitelist to play this game.

(isn't the vita safer with it on, the whitelist hack if its another measure to block psn's unwarranted activities with the device) (looks I have to disable the whitelist hack too! And Then, Add it Back! Since games that actually work on 3.60 really have no new updates to show for quite a long time!)

As far as I can find out the whitelist just updates the app.db to allow you to play most if not all games on the pstv. Since it doesn't allow you to play a lot of vita games due to no touch support, however using a ds4 or setting L3/R3 as activators works fine for me

(I installed the whitelist hack with Antiblacklist 1.2 (last, most up to date version), it has an uninstall option.............so far add another blemish to sd2vita, the first one is encouraging users not to post compatibility results with the brand of Micro SD they are using, the second blemish is encouraging users to not post update patches, because you can get it yourself with nonpdrm from the update button................then the big, big, blunder, is using the .pkg format for backups that requires you to download a file from Sony's Servers. Wouldn't take much for them to slip in an update for 3.60 firmware.................so far there's been no bricking activity, but not to long ago, when vitamin and mai dump came out, there were also a couple of spam releases that bricked the vita units. Wouldn't be surprised if that happens again, and soon)

Users of the famous subreddit actually encourage the opposite...

then the big, big, blunder, is using the .pkg format for backups that requires you to download a file from Sony's Servers. They were not brickers but rather formatters, they were "decrypted dumps" meaning anything can be replaced without trace - unlike a .pkg, and definitely they didn't come from $ony

after that spam release of the .psv format nobody cares about...............definitely .pkg takes the cake haven't seen one working release upped anywhere, one spam release after the other after nonpdrm.

Get .pkg, then unpack, add license, then use with nonpdrm..........then one is supposed to have a license generator that doesn't work, but, comes with a license file someone already dumped from a real game or something.........or something like that.

vitamin and mai dumps are not broken, some of them work fine, but I'd rather have nonpdrm............would of been better of the developers waited until nonpdrm was released at least a full week before they began the spam releases of stuff.

(fortunately we can still grab updates using nonpdrm, while it still lasts!) (don't have any .pkg links for game updates!)

Didn't The Flow recommend people don't use the pkg method as it is unreliable? I know people are working on it but I don't know if the errors it can cause are sorted yet.

hello i have many bug with a lot of nonpdrm dumps 5 games makes error code after launching a certain time and when i launch monster monpiece i have now a message the vita have a serious problem the system will reboot and it reboot to special menu i have a choice to reboot the system or format the sd card.any idea?

(install "mlthaku", it was updated and address the memory usage better..............also.................."antiblacklist 1.2.vpk" the application, stops nonpdrm dumps from connecting to the update server when installed, in addition to allow you to play games you normally can't on a pstv) and "netcheck_bypass.suprx" the plugin for the config.txt file in the tai folder, so the plugin goes in that folder, stops any connection to the update server for nonpdrm/mai dumps or vitamin dumps)

*ALL
# Prevents Connections to the PSN update server for "all" games
ur0:tai/netcheck_bypass.suprx

just add the plugin to the tai folder and add those three lines into the bottom of the config.txt
