Hacking Non HDD Usb Drive

I've been reading this forum all night and I wanted to know if it was okay to use regular flash memory instead of a hard drive to load backups, as getting a traditional hard drive is not a possibility for me at the moment. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Sorry if this has been brought up before but I haven't seen a topic in relation to my question.

Do you mean like a jumpdrive, thumb drive, usb stick, all the same thing, really. Yeah you can install the HBC, the install a loader on your usb stick, and format your USB stick to a format that type that stores Wii games and loads them. You will just be limited on space.

if it is then yea it will work, any usb will work no matter the size of it as long as its wii compatible
