Bannerbomb wadmanager and use ios250 or ios38 or ios36, install ios34-v3087. Then bannerbomb the hackmii installer.

Or

Bannerbomb dop-ios-mod v11.5, use ios250 or ios38 or ios36, install ios34 without patches. Then bannerbomb the hackmii installer.

You will need to run the cios38-r14/17 installer using ios250
and
You will need to either install cIOSCORP 3.5 or 3.6 to make it work with 4.2, or run the cIOSCORP uninstaller. If you keep cIOSCORP install cios38-r14 as I am not sure it works with 17 yet.

OMFG! IT WORKED!!!! IT WORKED!!! THANK YOU! MAUIFROG! i used NUS downloader to generate the WAD for IOS34 v3087, then i used Wad manager to load it onto my wii. to start wad manager i used Bannerbomb. So again, Bannerbomb to load wadmanager, then I elected to use ios250 to install ios34-v3087. Then used bannerbomb to load the hackmii installer. YES!!!! thanks everyone!

cIOSCORP does leave ios61 alone

analyzed IOS61 (rev 5405)
trucha bug :disabled
flash access :disabled
boot2 :disabled
usb 2.0 IOS tree :disabled

His ios61 is not patched, so reinstalling it will not help.

Yeah, but:

analyzed IOS34 (rev 65535)
trucha bug :disabled
flash access :disabled
boot2 :disabled
usb 2.0 IOS tree :disabled

Anyway, I missed IOS61. I realised he had it after I posted.

Maybe because IOS34 was maxed out (because of cIOSCORP) and installing a fresh one helped the hackmii installer...

ios34-v65535 = cios34-v3087-v3.4 (probably)- from cIOSCORP 3.4 (probably).

This issue has been resolved in cIOSCORP 3.6 as it no longer patches ios34, so no more hackmii troubles. Pimpmywii has also fallen in line with cIOSCORP and avoids patching ios34 to prevent this error.

Dop-Ios-Mod should probably do the same, or add a warning if it has not already done so.

I've been getting this error, and trying to fix it...however, every time I attempt to boot up a solution, either through LoadMii or directly using Bannerbomb, either the Wii Remote turns off and won't resync, or the app just won't load. How come the remote won't work? :s

Running 4.2u with the proper Bannerbomb for it. Tried to fix using DOP and WAD Manager, and remote turns off.

So you have bannerbombed dop-ios-mod, and it fails? Have you tried v11.5?
Do you have HBC?
Do you have bootmii ios?

Format your card and extract CB2_BB2_Dop-Ios_Mod-v11.5.zip, bannerbomb it.

I downloaded DOP-IOS Mod fresh from the project page today. It is v11.5. Attempting to load from LoadMii results in an exception and crash; loading directly from Bannerbomb makes the disc tray glow, and nothing else. There is no disc in the machine.

This machine *had* HBC, but was updated by someone who didn't know not to. Assumedly, BootMii is gone too.

try launching wad manager using the same method, i've heard wad manager working in situations like this where dop ios mod did not

here is the lazy man's offline method

that wont work if he was updated by ninty

he would only still have bootmii on his wii if he had bootmii as boot2v4 before updating, usually thats not the case (so if u have bootmii installed as boot2 but on a boot2v3 or less, you would lose bootmii as boot2 in addition to losing it as ios)
