Okay, so I bought Gameshark Lite, but every time I load a PSX backups with it, the game works normally, but it has little music. For example, it has sound effects, but for some reason, cutscenes don't have any sound at all, and there is no in-game background music. Original PSX disks booted with Gameshark have music and all, though.
Does anyone else had experience with it?

I know this is an old thread, but whatever, I too have the same problem, when I play Croc or Guilty Gear, theres no music, just SFX.

Running the backup in my PC via epsxe has the same result, though running the iso works fine.

A lot of the PSX games have multiple tracks with one of them being the audio and most rips end up missing the CD audio portion of the original CD.

When ripping PSX games, you should be using Alcohol 120% with the PSX profile which will output a .img and a .ccd file, both these files are needed in order to correctly convert the game, rather than an iso.
