I mean I still play on my OG switch so I'm used to about 2-3 hours on them but I mostly just play plugged in with reversenx forcing docked mode

So, I did play around a little with the NMS save editor (available via quick google search -its ran as a .jar or .py file) and my switch save file. The save editor recognizes the switch manifest files as PS4 but wont actually show or load the associated save file. - it seems like entire save files from NMS are pairs of "manifest" files and the actual save file (im assuming the manifest is some kind of JSON file) I could access and edit and my save from xbox gamepass but not export/convert in any usable way on the switch. You CAN swap around the save file from steam version pc save -renaming accordingly- and leave the switch manifest file alone and it will load certain things like inventory and items, but it seems like the in-game completion is stored on the manifest file. i have a nice ship with fuel and tons of inventory but cant fly because basic things aren't completed (im using a 0% switch save for the donor manifest file and a random steam save i found online that has a ton of progress)
I will hopefully get a chance to mess around more with this. I played NMS on xbox a long time ago and want to pick up where i left off and play on switch... I'd love to know if anyone had success moving NMS saves TO the switch, particularly the game completion portion.
currently the only NMS save editor that reads switch saves is a beta copy of Nomnom, can get it in their discord, discord linked on their github. its a broken mess right now though as a beta but hopefully will update soon.
previous versions of nomnom had the ability to convert xbox/ps4/pc saves between each other.
Good to know the tools still being worked on. Its genuinely cool and even worked with gamepass saves.. when i get time to mess with it again, ill jump over to the discord and get a copy of the beta and see how broken the mess is.
honestly, I didnt realize how much was left out of the switch release. aside from multiplayer, capes, settlements, MANY missions, including minator upgrade missions, anomaly is useless. Once a save editor comes out for switch finally, gonna convert to xbox or pc save and play there. On switch NMS feels like a glorified demo.
anyone else notice that when you max out exosuit cargo inventory slots, save, then exit game, 10 or so slot upgrades from cargo disappear and you have to re get them again? happened in 4.03 and now 4.04.... this port..
They add Polish laungage in 4.04 update. Anyone know why still i cant build mech? I tried But i cant see mech in build menu. And where i can find those glyph portals? I mean without mission
Yes, should work. Did it with my PS4 save. Created a new save on the switch. Export to SD with JKSM. Then copy and import the PS4 files (only the save*.hg files) to the switch. When loading for the first time, the old save is still displayed. After the first save everything is OK. Used PS4 SaveMounter and NomNom to get PS4 saves.
Standard for more intensive games with OC your time playing may increase slightly with the OLED but it wont be by much.
Yeah i mean that. I have all of those. But still i don't have option to build mech. Can build car, nautilus But no mech.
