Hacking no IOS will install

Hi, I've been trying to make backup loader work but the cIOS Installer returns:
"Download complete, Installing:

Installing ticket...

Adding title...

Adding content ID 00000000
install_nus_object(0x8005db00, 0)

ES_AddContentStart(00000001000000f9, 0)

:
ES_AddContentStart(00000001000000f9, 0) failed: -1017

install returned -1"

The downloading works fine but the installing fails.
If it matters i have firmware ver.3.3E and the cIOS installer says "IOS Version: 00240c12".
Do i need to downgrade the firmware?

How to fix:
1) Your SD card is not formatted as FAT16 properly, reformat
it
2) You deleted the file, after you selected it for install… stop
doing shit like this
3) Appears, when there is no “WAD” folder on your device
(i.e. a SD card)

1) My sd card is formatted correctly.
2) Umm, don't really understand(don't speak very good English).
3) There is a WAD folder on my sd card

Downgrade your firmware anden1022...

Also do you have the required wad file in the root directory of your sd card?...

Example:

-Apps
-Saves
-Wads
- IOS36-64-v1042.wad

Did you run the IOS downgrader after the downgrade?

No you shouldn't apparently.

Ahh, I've had this problem long time ago.

Start from scratch, update your Wii to 3.4, then follow EoC's or RadioShadow's guide.

Oh and, if you ever have a 1017 error on IOS Downgrader, and after reboot you got the system files corrupted screen, try rebooting your Wii, twice. It should be okay, then run WAD Manager and install cios_fix.wad WITHOUT UN-INSTALLING it. Rest should be a breeze

I ran the IOS downgrade and now everything works perfectly, JAY I CAN FINALLY PLAY SMG!!!!
