Homebrew NO$GBA help

Ummm i cant get No$GBA to open up a save file... i used pokesav to generate it

should i just start a new save file and edit that? cause im thinking its that pokesav doesnt edit the starter pokemon(as far as i know) and its was looking for one and cant find it...any ideas?

EDIT: Ive tried to start over by deleting the save file but i just get a White screen when i press start after giratina... Help again

In the emulation settings, change the NDS backup type to Flash 512KB.

ok wait will it save it so i can edit it in pokesav?

Whoops. You'll have to convert the save before using it with Pokesav.

Sorry for double posting but when i save it it doesnt show up in my betery folder whet should i do

EDIT: ok i have the save file now when i get to giratina and press start it says comunication errorif you where in the union room you will return to the last placfe you save press the a buton and i press it ans it gives a white screen.. ive tried the 265 and the 516 neither of them work
