No Diode Reading After Soldering Anchors DAT OLED

I tried installing the DAT0 adapter and was getting a reading of 700 before soldering the ground pads.

After soldering the ground pads, I am now getting a reading of 0.

Not sure if this is normal behavior or if something was done wrong.

I am looking for help so I can proceed with my install.

How do I fix it? Reading was right before soldering in and not sure if I should try pushing it in more or desolder the adapter.

I am afraid if I desolder it and try to remove it I will ruin the adapter.

If you're using similar adapter you can take this as reference how deep the thing needs to go

you should have anchored one point until you're confident of a solid connection.
