Hoping I posted this in the right section.

I just bought a 2DS XL yesterday and have it running Luma CFW perfectly. No issues there and am loving it! I've already backed up my Pokemon 3DS carts and save games and have them running cart-less now which I love!

My issue is with me wanting to setup and use Pokemon Bank and transfer said Pokemon to Pokemon HOME. Which I believe to do this I need to link the NNID and Nintendo Account (Which makes sense).

However I stupidly set my new NNID as Australian (Where I live), while my Nintendo Account has been set up as New Zealand (Where I lived when I got a Switch). Attempting to link the 2 accounts as a result gives me a big NO.

What is the best way to get around this? I cant change either account region. Changing the NNID region to New Zealand seems like the easier approach, but I'm unsure how to do this with CFW installed. Am I best to just reset my 3DS and start again making an NZ NNID? I put a lot of hours into backing up my OG 3DS games.

I saw a method where changing one of the folder values in godmode9 allows you to create a new NNID, but with the n2ds and n3ds it still locks the region no matter what.

The whole NNID system is a joke and has caused me nothing but issues with my previous 2DS and n3DS I've had in the past. So many games I've legitimately purchased have all been lost due to other annoying reasons I wont digress into.

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Booo.

same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's dumb
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Maybe.

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
