This DEFINITELY isn't something you should be discussing on this site, weather you have it or not, because like that one iso site it is simply a plague in terms of legality.

Giving important contents of the file in question makes it much easier to actually acquire them, almost as much as linking them would.

Anyhow, I have it, though it's seemingly pretty messy to operate with as I have no idea how I would even get from .bches to .bcstm, .bcmdl, etc

Discussion of piracy methods and vague (but effective) search hints to warez are fine.

Why did I know ryanrocks was behind this before I even searched that hint, lol. That dude is behind all 3ds scene mischief. :P

Nope, as long as it's not a direct link it's fine. People often say "google 3DS ISO and It's the first link" and nothing gets done.

So what exactly does this let us do? Is it just the official SDK? Or hopefully it lets us edit files more easily like say for translation purposes?

Games don't use a generic toolkit for text. Unfortunately, each game engine (and often individual games) needs its own toolkit.

"%NW4C_ROOT%\font1\\tool\FontConverter\NW4C_FontConverterConsole" -i win -in "‚l‚r ƒSƒVƒbƒN" -is 12 -ic LA6 -o bcfnt -of layouts\fonts\font.bcfnt
in setupdata is gonna be your problem. It expects NW4C_ROOT to be set in environment variables, and there's some garbled unicode there and you won't be able to get anything useful out of it most likely.

It's likely just a stripped down emu for displaying certain things. Anyway, I successfully built it's requirements in the correct directories, but it still crashes.
