Nintendo, Wii, Nintendo DS-enabled wireless LAN routers, "Nintendo Wi-Fi network adapter,"
the release said. Nintendo sold only online site for the 18 September 2008, 5800 Yen [tax] to be released.
This product is, Wii, Nintendo DS makes it easy to connect to the Internet wireless LAN routers. Of course, PC and other equipment can be used.
The official site is the main connection to connect subscribers by referral patterns. Net to match the home environment, feel free to buy a product, you can connect.

a) you have a WIFI ROUTER or an ACCESS POINT already

or

b) have a NINTENDO USB WIFI adapter!

I think they should stop releasing such pointless things.................They should try to release New wifi games...............yep that's what we need

It would be nice if it is actually a good, quality router. But if I already had like an Airport or something, I wouldn't get it.

I don't own a wireless router at the moment but I am going to need one soon. If it's cheap and well-made I might get it. Plus, it would be pretty funny to say that I own a Nintendo router. I hope they start making microwaves and toasters next.

those are no longer in production and only really support XP. even then it's finicky as hell

Actually they support Vista too..........But you have to download the drivers from their web site.............

According to Nintendo, yes. But the majority of Vista users who try it, myself formerly included, find that it simply doesn't work. I figured out that if I installed the drivers several times then it would work until my next restart, but there was never any telling how many times I'd have to install the drivers for it to work. The process went "install, try a game, repeat"

The Nintendo Wifi USB connector has a habit of not working for no reason at all. If you change your internet settings (say, switching from LAN to wireless) it will break the USB adaptor settings and changing internet connection sharing manually usually doesn't work, you have to uninstall and reinstall.


Nintendo/Buffalo really dropped the ball on the Wifi USB connector and stopped supporting it all together.

Yeah i think that too but i don't see reason to buy this adaptor since there are routers that cost less than the adaptor

Uhm....Why buy an Official NIntendo router if you have a better router? like 2Wire.

This is better than the Nintendo WiFi connector.. it's a router, you can use it with other devices, not just your Wii and DS..

Some people don't know how to get Internet to their Wii.. so many routers in the market, it's confuse to the average Joe out there.. when you look at something like this it's clear that you can use it to connect your Wii to the Internet.. that's Nintendo's idea.. I think
