So, I'd like to report a bit of an edge case, I am trying to play Megaman X Command Mission USA, and I checked that the dump was good. I am using specifically 3 cheats with it:

They work fine on Dolphin, but when I try to boot the game with cheats on, it instantly crashes. Without cheats it works. So far, I think its the only game that has this issue.

I guess it could be the cheats, but as I pointed out, they work with dolphin with 0 issue.
Dolphin is an Emulator whereas Nintendont isn't. Nintendont has to do some patching in RAM to make the games run in Wii mode so cheat codes that rely on objects being in a certain memory space may not work as intended on Nintendont. The cheat codes most likely have to be converted to be compatible with Nintendont.

They are, I posted them on Wiird/Gecko/Ocarina format.

Where did you get them?

Where did you get them?

Most of the Codes are on geckocodes.org.
You can use the "Ocarina" Option in USBLoader GX to Update/Download missing Codes (if they exist).

Thank you.:)

Can someone please tell where I’m going wrong with Super Mario Sunshine . I’ve booted up a NTSC rom onto my pal unit (don’t know if that makes any difference ) but the picture is terrible . When the game is booted and the intro sequence is playing it’s fine , but when defino plaza starts up the buildings are so hazy and grainy and resembles it running on a native wii via bog standard AV cables instead of HDMI . I’m running this on a wii u with the forwarder as a channel . My other games have upscaled nicely Metroid prime and the Zeldas. Was sunshine always like this ? Should I just wait for the remaster which may still be just a rumour ? This is making my eyes bleed lol. Can anyone suggest me settings . Many many thanks

I don't know and you are probably already doing this, but are you making sure that progressive scan is activating when you boot it up?

The game literally looks that bad. Unplayable and terrible when it came out and still is today.

Yeah I am just can’t believe the quality of it compared to Metroid Prime 2 and Paper Mario which I’m also currently playing . Many thanks for the reply

Now that BBA is functional and emulated I wonder if GCARS-CS will work with it?

Was a collection of action replay codes/homebrew control simulator to let offline games be played online

Oh ok thanks! I already downloaded it and got it working.

On a side note:
I know both Pokemon Colosseum and Pokemon XD have Widescreen issues when we enable the Widescreen hack in Nintendont, right?
So I was looking for some Widescreen cheat codes like the Mario Kart Double Dash one and Smash. Melee. and stumbled upon Widescreen cheat codes for the Pokemon NGC games too!

Try them out and let me know your results (if you can take pictures it would be nice):
Code:
Pokemon Colosseum (GC6E01)

16:9 Aspect Ratio (Widescreen) [Ralf]
C20A3930 00000002
C3A2B084 EFBD00B2
60000000 00000000
0447E724 3FAAAAAB
Code:
Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness (GXXE01)

16:9 Aspect Ratio (Widescreen) [Ralf]
C20B3454 00000002
C3A2BF9C EFBD00B2
60000000 00000000
044EFD5C 3FAAAAAB
If these codes work properly, maybe these could be added in a hard-coded way into the Widescreen hack as a stand alone patch only applied to these two games to make them work properly with Widescreen and not having all letters and text mirrored

Were you ever able to get natural widescreen on this game? I'm currently on a wild goose chase looking for the patch/hack/mod that allows true 16:9 for this title. If you read on the com list apparently there is a version and patch that allows this. I just wonder how to get it and install it..

"Pokémon Colosseum v2.169 v2 630 MB ✔ ✔ ✔² Needs Custom Patch to use the Widescreen Hack with proper fullscreen effects."

I haven't tbh.
I just went with how it was, but never bothered looking for proper widescreen patches :/
Were you able to make it run like that?

I can't do test right now but I'm organizing my Wii stuff and I have a doubt. If I put Nintendont on a SD card and I load the games from an USB device, where it expect the saves folder to be? The SD card or the USB device?

Another doubt I have is why the developers of Nintendont refuses to fix the name of the Triforce game Virtua Striker 2002... They use the name Virtua Striker 3 ver.2002 and that's wrong. That's the name of the GameCube Virtua Striker, not the Triforce one. These names are hardcoded so they can't be edited in the titles list so for people who have both games will have 2 games called Virtua Striker 3 ver.2002...
Here is the issue I opened (that was recently closed without response):

The saves are located on whatever device the ISO are located on. If they are on the SD card the saves are loaded from the SD card. If they are on the USB device they load from there.

I haven't had any luck, I've just been playing the game in 4:3 ratio on my Wii U. It looks nice upscaled not bad.
If I ever come across something I'll be sure to note it here.

Oh, that wasn't was I was expecting... Shouldn't be better to use the device where the app is being launched? This way, when loading/saving from the virtual memory card it still can read perfectly the game from the other device avoiding any read/write problem that could be caused because of this...

Hello, I'm here to report a bug.

Game : The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Describe Issue : In the cutscene where
King Bulbin attacks and kidnaps Colin and Ilia from the Ordon Spring
, the audio track that is supposed to play immediately after
Link wakes up
does not play right away, but with a delay. As a result, the track is cut off when the cutscene ends.
Region : PAL
Wii/Wii U : NTSC-U Wii
Nintendont revision : 6.489, 4.431, 3.400, and 2.219; I tested with all of these (I presume that the bug is present in all versions of Nintendont)
Last known working revision (if any) : unknown
Loader used (if any) with revision no. : none
SD/USB Pen/USB HDD : I tried with both a USB HDD and a pen drive
SD/USB Pen/USB HDD make, model, size, format & cluster size : The HDD is a Seagate 1TB USB 3.0 "portable" drive and the pen drive is a 64GB SanDisk flash drive. Both drives have 32k cluster formatting and are both FAT32.
ISO 1:1/compressed : ISO 1:1
McEmu/Real Mem card and size : Real Memory Card 1019 (Madcatz)
Native on/off : I tried both, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
Controller used if Native off : GameCube Controller
Composite/Component/HDMI: Composite (I tried Force NTSC with Deflicker On and Off and Auto, but the modes didn't make a difference)
Anything else you want to explain: If you search on YouTube, you can find playthroughs of the Wii/GC/Wii U versions that have the correct audio timing, but I did find one video that was run with Nintendont and it had the same problem that I have.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi,I'm trying to use nintendont on the Wii U but when I link generic pro controllers the whole stuff resets for some reason and it send me back to the Wii U menu,I heard that there was some iOS to make generic controllers work but I dunno if that's something related to this

I'm using the lastest version so any help would be appreciated

Also I already tested the controllers with Wii U games and Retroarch and they work

There is a problem with nintendon't and Tales of Symphonia US Game Id: GQSEAF.

I am at the end of disc1, when its time for nintendon't to swap discs I get "An error has ocurred. Turn the power off and refer to the Nintendo Gamecube Instruction Booklet for further instructions."

I checked my own dumps, that's not the issue, I went as far as to download two fresh isos from somewhere I trust, and the error repeats itself.

Path is SD:\games\Tales of Symphoia [GQSEAF]\game.iso

SD:\games\Tales of Symphoia [GQSEAF]\disc2.iso

settings are default.
