It seemed like my old config files and other stuff was still on my old hd, there was some sort of conflict with the new and old settings, it was driving me crazy. But the suggestions were a big help, now my hd is fat32. Checked it for errors, windows told me they fixed something (without telling what, but well lol), and settings were also mssed up in usbloadergx because it read the old config file.

.....,another happy GC gamer ^^

One last question, if i want gamecube controller support (bought 2 gamecubecontrollers from playasia.com) What should i buy , will the gamecube controller adaptor work or should i buy something else?

anyways,

Thanks a lot Pedro702 and Orgon3! for helping me out.

The official Nintendo GameCube adapter is officially supported in Nintendont. I assume the Mayflash adapter and other variants would also work.

Found a small error with game names. FIX94 already fixed the error with triforce game Virtua Striker 3 Ver. 2002 changing it to the real one: Virtua Striker 2002.

Just got another one, but this time is harder to fix Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II and Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II Plus.

Both games have the same game ID (GPOE8P) so the only way to check game is from MD5.

Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II ver 1.0: 478bf75c63d6ff30315c9b34cee288ab
Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II ver 1.1: 81724d71a2143a4fccf49020737d3add
Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II Plus ver 1.2: 36a7f90ad904975b745df9294a06baea

With NTSC-J the MD5 are:

Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II ver 1.1: b4e4f4a315c485868437a010deb72aee
Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II ver 1.3: 97780392136cbea73ef36ffb7141e467
Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II Plus ver 1.5: 23384e9d3dd6e28dba39231660d1fcad

Could be possible to add the MD5 check to nintendont so it can get the correct name and version of Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II?

Nintendont already has MD5 support. I guess adding a version display would make more sense, but why have all 3 versions on your play drive?

I only have Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II ver 1.1 and Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II Plus ver 1.2, since you can use the savegame on both games (Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II has some usefull bugs that are fixed/pathed on Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II Plus), also, savegames created on plus only work on plus, savegames created on the other 2 version work in all 3 editions...

if nintendont would md5 check everytime you boot the isos if they were pso plus or not you would basicaly be seeing a very very slow boot into nintendont menu, you cant check md5 of an iso using wi or wiiu processor in a second, even on pc takes several seconds so that would make everyone having the game a very slow boot.

In Super Mario Sunshine in Noki Bay there's 2 blue coins beneath the mole that shoots bob-ombs at you. The one closest to the bay(the one you have to wall jump for after hovering into the crevice) crashes my game every time I collect it. Does this happen to anyone else?

Disable widescreen.

Even with widescreen disabled, it still freezes. I didn't think that was the problem anyways because I went through damn near the entire game in widescreen without a single issue. Maybe I have a bad dump or something.

this is a glitch in the game afaik not nintendont exclusive, it depends on the angle and jump you do to get there.

see the comments on the video:
Testing on a PAL Wii in Noki 1, crashes require complete poweroff, neither Start + X + B nor Reset do anything.
Single jump on the left wall: Works
Single jump on the right wall: Works
Single jump on the back wall: Crash (not too loud, smoke)
Sideflip on the left wall: Crash (loud, no particles)
Sideflip on the right wall: Crash (louder, twinkles)
Sideflip on the back wall: Works Those seem kind of consistent, but it also depends on the wall kicks.

Nintendont already checks md5 of every iso you have on your SD/USB (on lastest version thnaks to that it shows you if its a 1:1 or a modified one), so ad a little if to display correct name doesnt slow it, since it already does it on boot.

Have 2 questions , 1 ) played mario kart double dash and sometimes player 2 wiimote + classic ctrlr setup, disconnected > is this normal? Got 1st party wiimotes + classic ctrlr on both, the wiimote is a normal one, not motion +. Allready ordered the multitap hope that this should fix the unsync problem.

2) In usbloaderGX i pressed " remount sd card and i got the black screen of death (black screen with an insane amount of numbers on it wich tell you to wait 20 sec till reboot) So i restarted my wiiu and launched usbloadergx again, but now when i want to load mario kart double dash, it instantly pops up the black screen of death, does anybody know wich file i have to delete to get rid of this problem? Tested it in homebrew launcher / Nintendont, but there the problem does not excist, it boot up normally, so it's usbloadergx related. Got the newest version of both Nintendont and usbloaderGX. Also, all other gc games boot up normally in usbloader gx. So it's just the game that had the crash (Mario kart double dash)

If anyone can help me with these problems i would be very happy ^^

@ALCAMJI

Your PSO version numbers are a bit off. The US versions are 1.0, 1.01, and 1.02+. The JP versions are 1.02 and 1.05+. JP 1.0 is the Trial Edition and not a full retail copy.

You can play US non-Plus saves in both editions, but JP 1.02 saves must be converted to Plus format and can no longer be used with the original version after you do that.

From redump.org:

Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II Trial Edition version 1.0
Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II JAP version1.02: Blue colored disc
Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II JAP version1.03: Green colored disc with Ver. 1.1 on the disc label
Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II Plus JAP version1.05

Also, I edited wiitdb.xml so now USB loader GX shows correct names, but theres the problem that both games use the same ID so if you want to swap between versions you have to reload games list to randomly show the one you want.

it doesnt check it the check is there but it doesnt actualy check it unless you make it so manualy. It simply pus on black full isos and other colors not full isos.

you probably corrupted the save file for double dash or ninconfig.bin.

Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II JAP version1.03: Green colored disc with Ver. 1.1 on the disc label.
Oh, great, I'm still missing a disc! :P

It appears it was added earlier this year, which explains why I didn't know about it. If it says 1.1 on the label, then that also explains where the "PSO 1.1" misnomer comes from, as no such revision exists in any region.

But when i boot with Nintendont launcher (whithin hombrew launcher/nintendont) there is no problem, does Usbloadergx have its own savefiles and nintendont.bin. Also all other gc games boot normal in usbloadergx.
And if so, where is the savefile located normally, is it on usb or hd?

Thanks in advance ^^

depends if settings are diferent on mcemu and solo nintendont, saves are stored where your isos are under the saves folder, if you boot the iso from sd card(or wiivc inject or real discs on original wiis) the save is on sd card if you boot the iso on usb (wii or vwii) the save is on usb.

or maybe usbloader you have has some issues since you toogled some settings or something .
