What controller. I believe Nintendont only works with one if you're using a HID USB controller.

Also, make sure you have "MaxPads" set to 4 in your loader.

This is on an original Wii, not vWii for WiiU. I also tried setting the MaxPads setting from Auto to 2/3/4 and still no change.

It doesn't matter if you're on Wii/vWii, we still need to know what controllers. Also, if Native Controls setting is enabled, only GameCube controllers will work (only for Wii).

Sorry, these are original GC controllers in an RVL-001 console. Also updated to the latest version of Nintendont on the console.

Check the MaxPads setting in your loader, then. USB Loader GX used to default to 1 so if you're using that and haven't changed the default settings that could be the problem. I'm not sure if CFG Loader and WiiFlow have an option to set that.

Gotcha, I'll check that. I know I set USB Loader to use Nintendont over DiosMios but may have missed that controller setting. That may explain why VC titles work but not Nintendont. Thanks!

Hello! It has been a long time since a played with my Wii, and also with Nintenndont. Btw, can someone explain me which are the new features on nintendont? The new changes? All that kind of stuff? I don't remember which was the last version that I used, but it was from the 1-10 of september.
Thanks to all!!

mostly compatibility increase and bug fix, nintendont is preety much 100% compatible, it also has abit more options like stretch screen and such nothing too major, also the last rev is 373 now.

Ok, I've been wondering this for a while and I feel like this may be a nagging question to ask, but is there plans yet for integrating network support into nintendont? I have a wii u and use USBLoader GX as my loader. I reeeeeally would like to get PSO running online one day.

BBA support is something that isn't in nintendont yet. It may happen one day, but I doubt it anytime soon. It's quite a complicated system to integrate.

I understand. I have dabbled in programming, and am nowhere near the level that would enable me to contribute to the project, but I wish I could. I can't thank everyone enough for their contributions to let every day people such as myself be able to play these games once again. I hope to see it someday, but I am really amazed at the amount of features Nintendont has and the huge compatibility with Gamecube titles. Keep up the good work!!

Can anybody let me know what, if any, difference in input latency would exist between:
1) a Gamecube game on an actual Gamecube (or Wii)
2) a Gamecube game through Nintendont on Wii U with an official GCN controller adapter?

(Assume that the display lag is the same for both consoles.)

I've been hearing conflicting information on what the USB polling rate is and how much inherent lag there is in vWii mode, so I was wondering if anyone here could set the record straight for me.

The only noticeable lag is if you are a competitive Smash Bros. Player.

I'm talking about Tournament grade competitiveness not casual players. I play smash with friends but only for fun and nobody cares who wins.
What denotes tournament grade competitiveness? If I play Smash, I mother-fuckin-smash. That's all their is to it. Lol.

"Whoooa-OH, Let's Go! Kick the shit out of your friends! Have a blast as you kick their ass, they'll be forced to clap for you in the end!"

You're not getting it. Not everyone plays to win. I play to have fun and don't care who wins or looses. Sure it's nice to win but it's not the end of the world if you loose.

I'm referring to people who enter tournaments, not people who play casually with friends for fun.

I'm looking for actual measurements.
there are no measurements jut try it for yourself lol

It will always have some ms delays because on the gc gc controller connect direct to the game and its the fastest possible input method.

On nintendont the wiiu gc adapter is an hid device wich sends hid signals, that need to be readed by nintendont, turned into gc controller code and then sended to the game, but yeah there are no measurements becuase no one cares if you have like 0.2ms delay or something, expect ssbm pro players that want 0.0 ms delay.

No I get it completely fine, you just seem to think people who play in tournaments are on another level, when that doesn't mean anything. Lol. That's why I asked, what denotes tournament grade competition? Not everyone plays just to Win, or just for Fun. Of course I know the difference of playing casual or hardcore, but that has nothing to do with where you play. :)

In any case, sorry guy. I don't know how to answer your question. I'm out.
