From the looks of things it actually could be the ECHI being removed. Extensible Host Controller Interface (XHCI) is the newest host controller standard that improves speed, power efficiency and virtualization over its predecessors The goal was also to define a USB host controller to replace UHCI/OHCI/EHCI. It supports all USB device speeds (USB 3.1 SuperSpeed+, USB 3.0 SuperSpeed, USB 2.0 Low-, Full-, and High-speed, USB 1.1 Low- and Full-speed).

EDIT: Sorry, IT IS the problem. There is no mention of ECHI anywhere in the software. This is what will be causing the issue for some USB 3.0 users.

Yep, official Nintendo's IOS58 has only support for 2.1 USB drivers, so the problem is nintendont not running on cIOS anymore, would be possible patch IOS58 with new modules, but not sure... it could be very risky.

They could always say Hey we wont chose what ios you use but we reccomend these for the software. so you write in the meta.exm something like <ios=254> i mean didnt they do that with USB Loader GX?

Or
I feel let down by nintendont lately, theres no fix yet for the USB issue people are having in 2.229 and i cant play games with the subtitles right. Come on guys try find the issue for the rest of us so we can play with subtitles too!
u could just get a compatible drive instead of asking Fix94 and the other devs which can't even reproduce your issue to spend lord knows how many hours to try and fix. He's already posted that unless a dev has a drive that can reproduce the error it can't even be worked on.

I'd say be grateful u at least have compatibility up to 229, and if u want to actually do something beneficial and help people with this situation why not donate your drive? Sorry if I come off rude but u sound real condescending and let me remind u that they have tried to work on it plenty already with no resolve.

Agreed at this point either donate your hard rive, or go purchase a cheap one from micro center or something.

Yes, I have that, do I need to use that code with CFG Loader?

I've tried to add it to that as well, but nothing seems to work right.

Change to USBLoaderGX latest rev

I think this advise is a bit useless, all the major usbloaders (CFG, GX, Wiiflow) can use nintendont provided you use the right version, the problem is probably something else

Guys remenber that discussion about BMX XXX well Fix found out why
https://www.avforums.com/threads/bmx-xxx-us-version-fails-to-load.78103/

aparently the devs of the game made the game so bad it doesnt even start with component on a real gc with the real disc, so yeah its not a nintendont issue, fix thinks the devs forgot to put the progressive yes or no question and when the progressive flag gets activated the game crashes becuase it doesnt have the question so yeah the game should be green on compat list since its acting exactly like it acts on a real gamecube with component.

the guy abode bought 3 copies and tryed it on 4 gamecubes lol, you liking the game or not this is like the worst game coded i have seen lol the devs didnt even bothered to test on GC with component before releasing the damn thing lol.

LOL

What the heck?
Those game devs, man, seriously.
Well at least the issue got cleared out. Good to know.

So I'm playing Fire Emblem Path of Radiance on it, and after every chapter it freezes to a black screen. I mean I guess I can still play, but anyone know the cause?

Some people have this issue and some people don't. It's right after the save point so it's not a big deal.

I guess FIX94 will have to add a patch for this game to disable progressive and auto set it as 480i or something to that effect.

Hi.
I've tested some games with version 2.277 (with bios)

ntsc games : works
pal games :works

Except Luigi mansion pal, but this game sometimes even not works in nintendont itself.

Great job Fix94 !!!!

A question:
is it possible at this moment enter the settings in bios ?
or is only to boot games?

Thanks again
