Tried it. Same results. If you got it working, I'd love to know your settings. That goes for everybody.
last time i tested it was on my wii with the default cables that come with the wii and it worked but yeah i bet its an issue with higher res stuff.

Just tried with all possible connection types at every video setting with default options and forcing NTSC. BMX XXX is BROKEN on Wii U.

Interesting.
Smells like the same situation I had with Medal of Honor European Assault.
Try the following:

Get Settings Editor made by JoostinOnline.
Run it in Homebrew Channel and change the default video output to 480i.
After that, go to Nintendont and put everything in default, just leave MCEmu on.
Launch the game and tell us your results.

Speed can be an issue with some games and it can cause video/audio lag. The internal SD slot seems to run slower than when run off USB. When I ran games off SD, I had some video lag in the intro of Mario Kart Double Dash which was gone when I used the same SD card with a USB adapter.

It can't possibly be slower than discs though....

Using Wii with Composite, it boots right up.

The same happened to me with MoH: EA.
Also I think pedro702 and bobmcj had the same issue, the FIFA games also had that problem.
They booted fine on a normal Wii but gave blackscreen on a Wii U.

Try using the app I told you, it should boot on a Wii U by using the Settings Editor and changing Video to 480i.

I tried it on Wii U with the stock composite wii cables. Did. Not. Work. I don't understand how setting it in Settings Editor would be any different.

When testing a game for a base line of working or not you should try it with mcemu off.
issue 148 https://code.google.com/p/nintendon-t/issues/detail?id=148&q=modified-after:today-1 is reporting that BMX XXX boots to a black screen when mcemu is on and works with it off.

sadly it can, there is an easy workaround though. Get a SD card USB adapter (these should be pretty cheap) and use that in the Usb slot

Gamecube's read speed is like 3 MB/s. Even the shittiest card readers are like 4 MB/s. It must be some kind of buffering for video or something.

Wii or Wii U? I just tried on Wii U at 1080p, mcemu off, and i'm getting a blackscreen.
i tryed everything off and videos on auto and mcemu off the game boots on my wiiu with hdmi

so i can confirm the issue wiiu on 1080p mcemu on doesnt boot mcemuoff does.

with with the default cables works with mcemu on no issues tough, this is a wierd one for sure.
