Why the constant obsession with using real memory cards, just use individual at 251 blocks. Solves most issues you people are having. Does it feel good to carry game saves on a memory card in your pocket. Save them to the console, its the most practical way. And give up with all these silly controls. Just use something that is supported or is known to work, solves all problem and stops all these silly useless post about controller XYZ. This is a simple process to follow for the most of us. Give it a break already.

Not to mention you can easily upload your save file for others to test for game problems. Don't need to deal with GCMM

Only issue i see is that you have to download a emulator just to config/convert game save files (Dolphin).

Wow.
Resident Evil 4 NTSC wasn't updated since 1.129.
Seriously? Such a popular game and no one updated it since then, weird...
It still had the no BGM message in there.

Anyway, I updated that one for 2.207. Played fine for half an hour in chapter 3-1.
One question to the developers...
Is there a way to expand the screen so it doesn't have those black bars on top and bottom for that game?
I know it is supposed to be like that but the image seems a little... Crushed. Like squeezed.
It feels odd playing it like that.

If it is possible to do with deflicker then it is possible with viWidth, so yes. Every TV differs so the best upscale is impossible to find, however I think 672 is a good size, similar if not the same size of the System Menu in 4:3 mode.

It's also important to note that some games like Paper Mario/Fire Emblem/FSA use a specific size along with the 608 fb to make the image in square pixels, so changing it to something else would distort the image and ruin this "feature".

I don't know why this keeps coming up.
If you have a memcard you want to transfer to Nintendont:

-Run GCMM and do a Raw Backup (complete). Don't do a Raw Restore or Format MC as that will overwrite your memcard.
-Take the file generated and rename it to ninmem.raw if using Multi, or the Game ID if not using Multi (e.g. for Star Fox Adventures, name the file GSAE.raw. Place the file in the saves directory.
-Done. Play the game with Nintendont with emulated memory cards on. The size you set doesn't matter, as that is only used when creating a new file (otherwise uses the existing file size). As long as the game was on the card, the save will work. It doesn't matter if it was the only game on the card or not. No extraction/transfer needed, just a file rename.

I'm trying to update while in Nintendont and it downloads the latest version but when I restart Nintendont I'm still on the same version. Could it be because i'm using the UStealth build?

Check where you run Nintendont from. Some people have had it download to SD/USB: /apps/ninloader.dol instead of SD/USB: /apps/Nintendont/boot.dol. I had this happen and so did some others.

Howard Any chance of having the nunchuck mod be updatable from within the app? I know it's just a beta for now and will eventually be incorporated in the main app, but it would make the updating process for both apps smoother (I wouldn't have to rename dols, and risk accidentally updating the main app over the nunchuck beta). Just a thought.

Ok i've worked out the errorJVS I/O blar blar blar just re-load but dont change any settings or remove any pads ect....If you want to play with classic controller it must be plugged before you the load the game. If you want to play with gc controller, take battery out of wii mote and us gc controller to start game. Ive just got it working with both controllers 2.207

Edit: scrap that remove battery trick, it still works regardless. Just dont change any settings or pad/controller combinations. Everything must be identical on second load

It was strange but... i tried to update controllers.zip, rebooted - nothing changed. I decided to turn off my wii and get some tea. Guess what - next time game was working fine. Dunno what was that but it worked.

Yeah, i don't get it too - emulated cards are so much better, especially when it's separate card for each game. I really love this feature in Mednafen (PSX emulation) on PC, and i really like it here. The only reason to use real card is when you play some game from original disc (low HDD/SD space or game isn't fully playable in Nintendont yet).

You know WiiSX does the same, I find that confusing since PS1 games use an even more complex GameID than Gamecube so it's harder to track down which save you wanna delete and which one to keep!

Your almost certainly getting the ninboot.dol error. Its fixed in the latest version just update manually this time

My fault, i meant needing to use dolphin when downloading game saves from a place like gamefaqs. I get what you mean though.

this all the way if you want to keeep the saves you have on your reeal mc just dump it rename it to ninmem.raw and turn multi on problem solved , why the need to put the samn real memory card there? i dont get you ppl are you that lazy to dump your memory card rename it and turn multi on on the settings?

How about a setting where the user can change the width and height values themselves?
