This is all from memory, though, so I might be remembering some of this wrong.

That is true for ARQPostRequest yea, but if you check out both of my asm hooks you might notice I dont modify the size at all or even touch structures or interrupts, the sound chip still has the correct timings and all so we should never need to even modify that.

I'm pretty sure he was playing it with Quadforce since it never worked in Nintendont, also DM(L) doesn't run MKAGP2 only Quadforce does (and Dolphin for that matter) Fix94 said he and Crediar have no idea why MKAGP2 crashes so until someone can find the error causing it and report it it's unlikely it'll ever be fixed.

It was Nintendont I seen him play GP2. Check Crediars youtube, the video is on there, and when I say DML I mean the loader. Quad wad is installed and I use the DM loader V30 to run all the triforce games.

GP2 Works in that video crediar showed because it didn't have the Nintendont GameCube kernel. Once the triforce kernel was added into the Nintendont GameCube kernel the game broke. Nobody knows why.

So instead of testing already working games (...), I ran my few not yet working ones with r.2.198
Smuggler's Run, GUN, Virtua Striker 4, Mario Kart Arcade GP2, XMen Legends 2, either still freeze or blackscreen.
Freekstyle & Hitman 2 still run fast, while Prince of Persia Warrior Within still has unbeatable enemies.

I'm suspecting after having downloaded PSO I&II Plus several times that another thing is not allowing the game boot, I could be the memory card, I don't remember the exact blocks size I made it, I have the ninmem.raw file and it's 16mb, am I good?

Hey TLT, I think people get confused cuz it's called DM-Booter not DM Loader which you shorten to DML. So pretty much anytime someone including myself sees DML I think Dios Mios Lite but I remember your post earlier so I know what you mean.

ShadowOne333 sorry for the long reply. I'm using nintendont 2.198 with Need for speed HP2 right now and I have no problem so far, after 15 minutes in-game. I will give it an hour and so before stating the game is stable. The last time I played it was 45 minutes before it crashes :P

I will also retest burnout 2, just in case it didn't broke :)

See you later.

Right. I was just trying to think of a way to pass the priority to the ARStartDMA function from ARQPostRequest, in case that was the cause. I was just passing along what information I had in case you didn't know and it would help.
I'm still studying your code to figure out exactly how your patch works. It does work, though, so good job.

Part of me still wants to find a single, generic patch that works for all games, but maybe that's just wishful thinking.

Wow. This project didn't have any major updates for the longest time. Now I stop following for a week or two and BOOM. fifty revisions have been made when I was gone. I've gotta say, thanks to all of you who put time and effort to keep this project going.
I seen in the log messages something about using HID and VID usb controllers. What's VID?

That's your problem right there, you HAVE TO disable emumem for it to work otherwise it'll black screen!

I have been in Need for Speed for over an hour, and the game DID NOT CRASH :)
Finaly it has been fixed! Thank you very much Fix94 :D

Finally all NFS games are working!

Edit: Need to check if native controls on fixes Most Wanted gamecube ports. If you try to use the emulated gamecube ports then the controller gets fucked up after around 5 minutes of gameplay

Thanks for getting this together, you missed a few I think are important though. If you don't mind could you get the widescreen cheat codes for these games that deshayzilla mentioned are on the devo list as well and post them together like you did in the quoted post? At the very least if it doesn't get implemented it'll be a great post to refer to for all the widescreen problematic games cheat codes.

- Phantasy Star Online (Episode 1+2)
- The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker (full game and demo)
- The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
- Resident Evil 4
- Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
- Ultimate Spider-Man

Most of them can be found here. Also we should get a list of these problematic games together at least, we just need to make sure that credit is fully given to Ralf@gc-forever. I mean his animal crossing widescreen code fixes the game so that objects outside the original 4:3 aspect ratio do not disappear, it plays like the game was meant for widescreen.
