Normal, on wii you can use gc controllers if HID is disabled.
So shouldn't it be disabled on Wii U too? I didn't change any options. Or does it automatically turn HID on when it detects Wii U? Maybe now Nintendont should be made to look for Bluetooth controllers first.

exactly, it looks for an hid controller first ONLY from a usb loader after my testing. It doesn't seem to do so from the plain app.

Well hopefully Fix94 deems it of importance to make some changes regarding how controllers are detected.
In somewhat related news, I tried my Wii U Pro controller in Nintendont and it works beautifully. Surprisingly now, I find I am able to turn the Wii on and off using the WUP's power button. If only it would work afterward with my loader. ALMOST THERE! :yayu:

If you want nunchuck support that bad then you can code it yourself. it's fucking stupid to support it anyway. Worst button mapping ever

waste of dev time in my opinion

I played ALOT today with my wiiu pro controller and it works really good after I refined its accuracy yesterday, its up there with a regular gc controller.

Thank you for adjusting the WiiU PC sticks. I'll test 'em out here soon. :)

Wow, he just doesn't listen, does he? I don't understand why anyone wants that anyway. Nevermind the fact that there simply aren't enough buttons and only 1 control stick. Even if you mapped the buttons in a way for games that most would be playable with, I'd have to imagine the button layout would instantly be incredibly awkward for most games.

just something temporary until i get my ccp

Well considering you only want it temporarily, no one wants to code it, and its lacking in enough buttons and control sticks, I'd say you should just wait until you get your classic controller. I mean we waited this long for the bluetooth compatibility, surely you can wait until you go out and buy whichever controller you decide on that is compatible.

I actually lol'd at the "just something temporary" for a thing that would probably be too much work for what it's worth just because he can't wait until he buys the CCP...

More on topic, I think FIX94 already stated that multiplayer is possible with more than one CC, has anyone tested this to see if it's comfortable and all? I wanna play with my gf and wouldn't mind buying two of those just to enjoy a few GC games with her, but I'm not sure how I'd deal with needing the wiimotes close by all the time. :P

I played Kirby Air Ride with a friend for over an hour with this adapter plugged into the bottom of both Wii Remotes. it felt freaking amazing

Well multiplayer does work for me, I only tested with two controllers, but it worked: one was a Wii U Pro controller, the other a Classic Controller Pro, both connected via bluetooth, no adapters or anything.

So I had this issue a couple of pages back where I couldn't load GC games from the CFG USB Loader...

With the latest CFG USB Loader (v70r76) and latest Nintendont (r155) and this configuration for each game:
NMM: on
Boot Method: Nintendont
PAD HOOK: off
Alt Button Cfg: off

The "Loading Patched Kernel... -1" error was solved! I can now play all my gamecube games via bluetooth with my CCP :)

I don't know if it's the new versions of the .dols that solved the problem or I was using the wrong configuration xD But anyway, I leave this here if someone else has the same problem.

Thanks to both, my question was actually aimed to the fact you need to plug the CC to the wiimote for it to connect to the Wii, and wasn't sure if it's comfortable at all having the wiimote and it's cable hanging around while you're playing; or if I'd need to search for the NYKO grip accesory for them as well.

I don't really care about feeling the rumble or not, but I don't know if the cable is long enough to leave the wiimote on a table or something; or short enough to leave the wiimote on my lap without the cable bothering me :P

Funny, I keep my wiimote in my pocket, playing with nintendont rumble mod, it is a bit weird, be funny to feel rumble in my pants :P

The cable is around 80 cm long.

The CC cord is very short. Same length as nunchuck cord. The perfect length for it to annoy you:hateit:
