I did, same result.
I am going to stay with sdcard for now. a bit slower, but it never bugs for me.
If I remember correctly crediar told me that, when those errors occur ingame, it is most likely caused by a read time out of your storage device. Since you only get those error with your hdd, it is probably defect...

But to make this clear: The errors while starting one of James Bond games are not caused by read timeouts. They occur because those games aren't patched yet.

Not a stupid question, I forgot to mention that, Yes the USB cable is plugged into the bottom port in the back under the HDD cable, and yes I tried pressing the PS button, but all it does is exit the game back to Nintendont.
the PS button is not suposed to exit nintendont only the select button is suposed to exit, something is wrong if PS button which you need to press once the game starts to activate the ps3 controller is exiting something is bad there did you mess around with the controller.ini?is it a third party controller?

This is what I realized after some more investigation, thanks for enlightments.

So i have a weird anomaly happening with Pokemon Colosseum and Pokemon XD that i haven't been able to figure out. For some reason both games reset the WiiU console for me (at number 9 to be specific). I've tried them compressed/uncompressed, with no settings on and deleting any temporary files. I've tested many versions back but it turns out this problem has always been with me (since the version that made Colosseum work). Anyone know what's going on?

Serious sam works perfect now I cleaned the disk and re ripped it. It must have been the kids sticky finger marks lol

i just booted up colloseeum in v1.80 and boots up fine mcemu still not working but the game plays nice, XD ever since long time has been froozing on the first screen but neither of this games reset the wiiu on v1.80

i use dicex collosseum on a hdd, wiiu and ps3 controller.

I wonder if that's the problem, i've only ever used an SD card with Nintendon-t ever since the project started. Unfortunately i don't have a HDD to test the theory with. Maybe someone else can test with an SD card and see if the results are the same.

Same thing on rev 72.

When I start any game it is ok, but right as the game starts, I press the PS button and it loads back to the HBC. Is the PS button supposed to exit?

Edit: by "it is ok" I mean the games start, Nintendont loader is fine, no issues during boot. I have a few games that just stop the start up cut scenes, but the ones that do load just sit there because I can't do anything on the controller.

Did you try using HidTest to make sure the controller.ini is supposed to work for you? I get the feeling most people just get the controller.ini and jump into the game (which is fine) bit if it doesn't work they come directly to the forum without checking the ini first.

If you get a USB3.0 HDD, you are guaranteed to not have any read/write/speed problems.

As long as the power source is adequate, i guess. I had problems previously with an USB3.0 external case for my hdd that was usb powered since I can only use one port for it in my wii; I got an USB 2.0 SATA/USB bridge that was AC powered and since then I had no problems at all.

OK I'm going to try to download the ini again, it's official Sony Ps3 controller.

I'll be honest, I did not test it with hidtest. But only because it's official Sony controller. It used to work on earlier revs but I don't remember which. I remember playing POP SOT and it working. But now I get no reaction from the controller. I'm going to grab it again and verify in hidtest. Or at least attempt to as I've never used that program.

This is exactely what I am using. I use this method for my wii games, all is working fine. but in Nintendont, I had issues with it.

Seems your problem needs to be added under the "I have an error" section on the first post so other people with the problem can know what's up.

Can it be some writing, reading timing in Nintendont that can be corrected in future revisions, or it is my hdd ?

My Test:
Ver: 1.80

Bloody roar primal fury NTSC FST: No music in game and freezes after CPU or player 2 transform to beast...

Tony hawks underground 2 NTSC FST: the music lasts longer before stop...

Sound issues usually come from being compressed.

I have tried Tony Hawks underground 2 and it works perfect uncompressed (Ripped it myself).

Incompatibile harddrive. You need to format it differently (fat32 and mess around with cluster size)

add another HID-controller multiplayer or at least 2-player support.
