If we end up creating files for each game, we might need to make two for some games. One for Wii and one for WiiU. I haven't looked at the code close enough yet, but the WiiU obviously has more memory to cache files than the Wii. It might run into problems if the Wii runs out of room using a file written for a WiiU.
could that be the reason i'm getting an error for ssbm cause i have original wii and the game runs fine without the cache.txt file

I'm being ignored... anyway good news much progress has been done, kudos to all those who worked hard on it, all I can say is thank you!

I'm using a Family Edition Wii, I'm pretty sure there shouldn't be any difference in memory between that and an original Wii. have you tried deleting that file from the cache.txt and running the game again? If it's not listed, it won't try to cache it.

I didn't see anything in your posts that expected a reply.. Well, except for the part about Triforce support that you'd know if you read just the last 10 pages in the thread.

And crediar always appeared from time to time to contribute something to the project, and as far as I know, real memory cards were never supported and don't have as much priority as other stuff.

I thought Crediar came back to the project I didn't know he was around all along, and real memory cards were once supported and fully functional as far as I know before they were broken and never looked at again, anyway it's not very important but I still hope for real memory card support because they're more reliable and I already have so many saves I don't wanna have to redo again!

The reason mem cards are not a priority should be obvious. You can use DM for real memcards on a normal wii. WiiU CANNOT use real mem cards, and the main focus of Nintendont IS WiiU. The fact that it runs on a normal wii should be viewed as a side benefit only.

Real memory cards never worked

*Checks out recent r27* "Can now be compiled with AUDIOSTREAM defined" this doesn't mean what I think it does, does it?

Doubt it, i'm not sure what it means either.

I'm getting a black screen on burn out 2 with r29 it worked on r26 also I tried Mario kart gp 1 and 2 and I get black screen but so far all the other games I tried worked

I rechecked my ssbm iso and all the files were there i just over looked one, I tried to delete about 5 or 6 files listed in the cache.txt file and it still has an error i don't really know which file to delete or which to keep i guess i'll keep trying

I read your post the first time, and Adeka already told you: Real memory cards never worked. If you can't prove that it worked at some point then it's pointless to argue about this. I remember clearly that Crediar said (can't remember in which thread) that it would require to be patched perfectly otherwise it would corrupt the physical memory card, so it's probably too much work for what it's worth, otherwise it would be done already.

I wish I could help but it worked fine for me, at this point the only thing I could suggest is deleting everything but one file from the cache list, if it still doesn't work, replace that file with another random one. if it still doesn't work, then it probably won't work no matter what you change.

Just finished checking all the controller issue games and here are my results

Pokemon colosseum - Works. cannot save
Super Mario Strikers (football) - Works. saves
Pokemon XD - Now freezes within 15 seconds of game boot
Burnout 2 - No longer boots
Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 - Freezes picking game mode. Memory card did format
Mario Power Tennis- No change

Alright thanks for clarifying this!

It means exactly what it says. I realized that if, for some reason you uncommented AUDIOSTREAM, Nintendont wouldn't compile because there was an undefined variable.

Compatibility didn't change in that revision.

Tested 2 Triforce games ("Virtua Striker 4 ver. 2006" and "Mario Kart GP1")
with necessary ipl.bin.

However, I got "black screen" after "loading main.dol........" .
(either load the game from USB or SD)

i haven't understand.. triforce games run now or not? i havent' see any comment on code.google about triiforce...
probably in future the cache.txt file isn't necessary? and all can be automatic?

I deleted all but 7 files and it worked but i could not tell if it did anything to the game cause i didn't have the right files cached but I think my wii is running out of memory when it is trying to cache the files, I have a old wii, I think it is 2009 not sure, it probably doesn't matter about the year though
