By 'USB version' and 'SD version' I suppose you just mean the location of the games? Because I don't see any different downloads for SD or USB.

I just decided on something else that would be a very nice addition to Nintendont. Pressing the power button turns off the Wii U. I want to be able to reboot my console when a game crashes without having to pull the power cord out of the back.

This would be a very useful feature to implement, I agree, it's the only way to reboot a Wii U, since Nintendo skimped on a reset button for some reason. On top of that getting to the HBC via vWii takes far longer than it does on a real Wii due to boot up. How easy it would be is another story.

I agree and second that.
Actually, that NEEDS to be implemented for every Homebrew in vWii right now. It's quite irritating to have an app crash on you and having no other option but to plug-off the console.

The question that remains now is, how or in what way would it be implemented, would there be a timeout/countdown that would tell the app to reload to the HBC/vWii Menu? I'm wondering how such a feature would work, but yeah, a very advantageous feature for sure.

Don't know.
Maybe adding an option of letting the Wiimote remain sync with the app and whenever the Power button is pressed, it brings you back to the Homebrew channel.
The countdowns would work, but only if they are made short, like 5 seconds or so.
Yesterday I was trying an app and the goddamn thing froze on me with an annoying low pitched sound that remained on my speakers for 30 seconds until the app rebooted. :/

It's getting more and more stable, and at this rate, something will be implemented I'm sure :P A 5 second timeout would be a viable option.

So i am having a bit of a problem.... when i plug my USB hard drive into my Wii u all i hear is a clicking sound meaning that it isn't getting enough power. the thing is it works fine on my Wii and PC using the same cable. i have tried every port. what am i to do? (doesn't work in Wii u mode either)

If it's a USB only powered HDD, you absolutely need a USB Y-cable since the Wii U doesn't give enough power with one cable. So yes, the clicking is due to lack of power. This is the one I use http://www.amazon.com/eForCity-dual-Micro-B-Cable-Black/dp/B005M0ICG2/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1398737377&sr=8-3&keywords=usb y cable

My Wii U is like a damn Frankenstein monster.

I have my HDD connected to a female-female connector, then from one of those ends the Y-Cable to connect the HDD, then one of the two connections of the Y-Cable to an extension USB cable to the front port.
I call it Frank-Wii-nstein.

There's a reason there's a amazon link

Is it possible to NOT make annoying noise when nintendont freezes? It pisses me off.

You just plug the flat end (USB micro) then the other two go in the back two ports of the Wii U, that's it :P Not hard at all. This is why your HDD is clicking, it's not getting enough power from the Wii U, trust me, you don't to use the HDD without extra power as it could damage the drive.

I use Wii. I know that the Wii has usb 2.0 ports and the Ps2 uses usb 1.4 I believe. But it won't make a difference in loading Times?
Nope. The 2.0 port bottlenecks the speed. The HDD can send and receive data at 3.0 speeds, but the Wii (or Wii U) can only send and receive at 2.0 speeds. It's like a bottle (thus the term "bottleneck"), or more appropriately, a funnel. The maximum amount of liquid that can run through it at any given time is defined by the smaller end of the funnel, no matter how wide the other is.
