Ignore his post. It's not coming soon.

LIKE I SAID... 2 weeks brah.

I've picked up that it is frowned upon to ask for ETAs. mcemu will come when it comes, it could be in 5 minutes, tomorrow or even 2 weeks. Nobody knows, don't even bother asking. The main focus at the moment is game compatibility.

And you simply guessed that everyone here would know about that video and would get the joke that you wanted to convey? People who's been around long enough will know that you have no idea when things will get done so won't take you seriously, but those new in the thread might believe you and then they'll start complaining or putting pressure to be done by the "deadline".

Next time give a serious reply to a serious question, it's the least you can do. Or you can simply leave the replies for others.

Edit: Besides, he wasn't even asking about MCEmu, but multiplayer support, and that's even further down in the priority list.

Last time I checked game compatibility was one of the lowest things on the list. They are just adding more features without breaking games that actually work.

Awww :/
Do you know if a developer is working on getting this functionality out?
Thanks for the quick response.

i think i heard that earlier in this thread about usb loading not coming anytime soon and when it had already been worked on and in private beta.
people worked on multiplayer and included it in past rev_39(march29) for wii , would you not think 'they' worked some on it for WiiU, so dont be so sure when you hear Adeka say 'no ones working on it' , you may just be surprised.
i would like to hear from the dev's what the priorities are not the users...(right now, by the changes listed in the svn, i think priorities of these devs are on fixing the things broken by making work arounds for other things)
i myself am looking forward to WiiU multiplayer support as well, regardless of timeline. ( i dont 'get' why anyone asks for 'a timeline' , is it not obvious that it'll happen when it happens? )

You must remember that the USB version was leaked too. We may or may not have it now if it wasn't for that leak.

The only way to get multiplayer support is with Wii remotes using the classic controller. coding bluetooth will be a pain.

you dont think the usb version was meant to get out ?, just not the way it did.

or hid compliant ps3 controllers plugged in via usb , no bluetooth."wiil be a pain" , so your coding for this too ?

Wii U only has 4 usb ports 1 for hdd and 3 for controllers. That would be funny to see.

Devs posted that bluetooth will be very hard back in december

my front 2 usb ports dont work in vWii , have to use usb hub in the back bottom when loading wii games from wiiflow (so far) ....

...USB HUBS ?

The front usb ports worked with Nintendont r38 and earlier

Wait, what? I wasn't told that the front USB ports worked, I thought that the devs weren't gonna fix that for a while... but after r38, they no longer work? Bollocks. You are talking about USB Y-cables, controllers...?

I tested r60 with Kirby Air Ride, Melee, Mario Party 5, Burnout, and Digimon World 4 and all games still work flawlessly on the Wii U.

Have you tried Fire Emblem, Wario World or any of the Mario sports titles. Also is there any difference in compatability between the Wii and Wii U versions of this program.

I'm going to assume they have the same compatibility as the compatibility list. I only checked those games because people reported controller delay so I was checking on it.

You must have read my comment wrong. The front ports do not work.

I was mainly curious about Fire Emblem since there's no feedback in the notes section. So I wasnt sure if it was a perfect 1:1 experience.

I already posted about Fire emblem, and even quoted you so you'd read it.

"I tested the game and it worked perfectly fine. The only issue is that you souldn't try to create a save game when you start, it will give an error that the memory is damaged, and after that you'll be unable to start the game at all. To be on the safe side have MCEmu off when playing this game. "

Though I didn't try it with MCEmu off, I think (I'll do so now) but I suppose that just picking not to create a save is enough, even if pointless.

EDIT: Tested Fire emblem again, MCEMU off works too.

Well i read it the same way there.

Front ports work for me on r59 loading games from sd only.

That makes sense.. r38 and earlier were sd-only by default, (I think you could make the usb version by changing a line in the compiler) so it's logical that loading from sd games would allow the front ports to work. Most likely a difference in the kernels.

Figs, I had a feeling I misread what you said :P I hope that someday front USB ports for controllers will work because getting a USB extension for Y-cables shouldn't have to be done.

r59
Fix Tales of Symphonia always up when using GC Pad.

I'm not real confident this change won't break other games controls with the GCPad.
Also, seeing how PADStatus.err is only s8 (see global.h), we should probably replace this line in SIGetType.S
Code:
lwz %r5, 8(%r4)
with
Code:
lbz %r5, 9(%r4)
or
Code:
lbz %r5, 10(%r4)
but I'm too tired tonight to think about endianess.
While your looking at that section of code and endianess :)
I tried testing a gamestop generic wavebird in zelda ww on r60.
Everything with the controller worked except pushing the main stick more than half way forward.
When the stick was more than half way forward it was interpreted as more than half way backwards.
The stick works correctly when not using nintendont.
Real gamecube controllers work corectly.
It was not affected by the r59 update.
