If you're trying to use it with nintendont, the debug output is causing a conflict with the Ocarina code handler, so you can't unless you disable debug output. If you're not trying it with nintendont, try running the program as administrator.
I always run as admin , will try gecko dnet with other apps to see if my USBgecko gets recognized. I
Only ever used geckocli.exe before this

MY TEST:
Holywood 0x21 (black wii GC ports)
Now i see the new error for lot of line (very quick, maybe 1/4sec) and video shutdown....
same result of the -1kernel error+videoshutdown (from usb and sd).
with r50 is only changed the error output (if my spiderman eye can read it)

videotape it and play it back slowly, then you can make out the errors

Hey naxil bet it looks like that

I think the controller delay comes from your controller your using. I use my normal dualshock 3 and I have no problems.

In fact I have tested Kirby Air Ride myself and it plays flawlessly with Nintendont.

I'm using a Dualshock 3 controller myself.

It may be my USB cable, but I'm not sure. Does the sixaxis have any affect on Nintendont?

On Wii U version, this issue was fixed; on Wii still not... well, kind of... n.n

This is not "an issue"; Howard made a change that would show that many errors ONLY in consoles with Hollywood 0x21 so that we'd be able to see the error (before it was just a sudden crash and lose of signal) and also it would help to determine if the only consoles that crash in that way are those with that Hollywood version.

At least, mine works almost perfect

Aren't you using a WiiU? Then of course it would work for you, the -1 kernel error affects only Wii. That's why that error was made so it would show ONLY on Wii that has Hollywood 0x21. Now, if you're talking about a Wii that has the same hollywood version that shows the error and still loads a game, then that's an entirely different matter.

In fact!!!! :yayu:

In fact what? Do you realize that if you're only using a WiiU, then any comment you do regarding this error is useless because you aren't even affected by it? If you want to give feedback then do it about things you can actually help with, like testing game compatibility.

Wii U was affected (only message displayed and still playing) by it on previous revision; on r50 Wii have the same issue ba hollywood 0x21, on next revision...

faku1810 knows what he's talking about. He knows the Wii U was showing the message on a previous revision
Hence why he said 'that error was made so it would show ONLY on Wii that has Hollywood 0x21'
That change was made in the last revision.

Also, Lol. I've had an account for 3 years without a post.

Thanks shaneod, it seems I have problems being clear sometimes. What an honor that your first post would be for this lol.

JuanLeOnardO, i know the WiiU displayed an error last time, but as you said, it worked even so. That's because they aren't affected by the -1 kernel error, which is when you try to load a game and it crashes with a black screen and you lose video signal so you can't use nintendont at all. So far that has only happened in Wii's, and surely the only reason it was shown in the WiiU was because Howard thought there was no reason for the error to be displayed in them and didn't take that possibility into account when writing the code for it, so in the latest revision he made sure to modify the code and make it exclusive for Wii's with Hollywood 0x21.

That's all there's to it, so we can stop discussing that now. I think this time i've made it clear enough. So my point for you was "you have a WiiU so don't concern yourself about it, nintendont works for you so made good use of it and help testing game compatibility". Thanks.

I just see that Wii U Gamecube version of the games are more sharp, and look lot better than Wii (even if you are using a Component cord) wow i hope the compatibily list grows up :( and of course add support for other gamepads.

EDIT: I would like to buy this one... but im not sure if it will work on my Wii U D:
http://www.amazon.com/GC-Controller-Adapter-PC/dp/B0089NVTDM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1397092143&sr=8-1&keywords=gamecube to pc
According to crediar Mayflash GC Controller adapter USB works!!

Because if someone hasn't done something difficult for you for free right away, that means they don't give a shit about it. The_randomizer is right, you acting like an ass isn't much incentive to work on something.

Emulation is more important, because it works on both the Wii (all versions) and Wii U, doesn't require you to purchase a memory card, and there is less risk of corruption.
I was away for a couple of days and didn't see the replies, I wanna apologize for the comment I didn't mean to offend anyone and I certainly didn't ignore or leave I was just way from gtbatemp.

As for my statement earlier I apologize for sounding like a dick I am grateful for all the work done here by the coders I was however in the impression that memory card wasn't re-fixed yet when more "harder" work was put like the DSP and USB support shows that the coders don't think memory card support is important anymore or else wouldn't it be easier to track down the build that broke it and try to fix that rather than wait till it gets older and needs more work to get it fixed?

If you can tell me the build, then I'll look into it. I can't guaranty that it will be fixed, but I'll give it a shot.

I have this :
Loading patched kernel... 11!
Mounting USB/SD device... Done!
Checking FS... OK!
Drive Size: 150gb SectorSize: 74
Loading config... Done
Init HID Devices...
And nothing happens.
When i don't plug a ps3 controller at the back
then I have to hard-reboot the wiiu.

When i plug a PS3 controller, i have to press the playstation button to power on the controller so my ps3 is power on too and my ps3 controller is linked to my ps3. Then the system crash and reboot the wii U

What did i missed ?

sorry for my poor english
& I put the ps3 controller.ini at the root of my hdd.
