I wish people would stop comparing Dolphin to Nintendont. They are 2 COMPLETELY different beasts. Dolphin is an EMULATOR while Nintendont runs most GameCube stuff NATIVELY on the Wii and Wii U with only a few things being emulated because they don't exist on the Wii or vWii mode. Just because a game works fine in Dolphin doesn't mean it will work in Nintendont. Nintendont is way more strict on things. The ISO needs to be properly aligned and for best results MD5 check it and don't force stuff that the game was never meant run with. Many times a game didn't work was because of a mis-aligned ISO (shrunk using a crappy ISO editor), corrupted ISO (Bad download/bad rip) or forced settings the game doesn't like. Sometimes is can be an issue with the storage device the ISO is stored on. Avoid using USB Flash Drives if you can as they have lousy compatibility. Also please, I beg you, tell us your ACTUAL Nintendont version and not just "latest".

make sure you got md5 checked isos and your not forcing any settings.
QUOTE]

Just checked the MD5 hashes with some program called Gamecube Game Manager, both were correct :)

I do have the Widescreen setting on but I don't see how that would effect the c-stick on Ace Golf :S I found threads about The Urbz needing OpenGL instead of Direct3D but that doesn't really help Nintendont

@FIX94 would be possible to add an option in nintendont menu to ignore iplusa.bin / ipljap.bin files if they are present in SD: ?

And optional enabling the GCN boot bios by holding a button before starting a game?

It would be useful to manage saves in your card A / card B when needed.

That it's already there...

widescreen or any other hack can break alot of stuff on games always try games with everything off and auto except mcemu if you need it.

you must have a very old dolphin since both of those games work on dolphin and nintendont, if they dont work on latest dolphin the only thing i can think off is bad isos lol since dolphin wiki states they work perfectly.

Does it work if you autoboot from a Wii VC? If that so how do you enable the bios without configuring nincfg again?

If you want to skip it, there is an option to skip it.. although why would you want that?

EDIT:
The only way to do it is by entering Nintendont from HBC or WiiVC Forwarder.

that golf game works just fine with my wiiu pro controller, maybe you dont know how to even play it or something? anyways force widescreen doesnt appear to apply to the game anyways and doesnt have any negative effect on it. Also, my god the US art is terrible, who made this?

in comparison, this is the JP title screen.

The JP version works just as well. I also remember just recently writing a patch for the game so PAL60 can be forced onto it (for RGB SCART users) and at the time it also worked just fine.

Skip the intro? To start the game sooner?
then you dont need to have them anyway lol, i never understand what people are managing on the saves lol if you have individual mc emu wich is recomended there is nothing to manage, you either have the save or not, since they are individual you dont need to delete saves to make room or anything.. also the gc intro takes like 7 seconds lol.

I LOVE that intro, don't mind to see it every time I play a game :P

and you are right,. if you are like me and have your games with individual save, then you don't need to manage the memory card with GC Bios... I don't know if Slot B is working now... if you wanted to transfer saves from one slot to the other... D:

Plus 251 blocks is not enough for so many games xDDDD

I guess is just nostalgia, having the boot menu is part of the experience IMHO, just though it would be cool having an option to enable/disable in real time when using autoboot, but I understand that's pretty low priority feature :P

It says here in the post

BIOS files are automatically loaded if found on the root of the game's partition based on the launched game region and type.

Rename BIOS files accordingly:
iplpal.bin
iplusa.bin
ipljap.bin
segaboot.bin

what is meant by

root of the game's partition

The games folder on the sd card?
I would like to see if it is still possible to use my own dumped gamecube bios because i would like to utilize the memory card manager.

They mean the ROOT of the SD card... :) and yes it work, I used it sometimes.. but didn't have a real use until someone makes a SLOT B for Nintendont.

ok, I got it to work, but it seems it doesn't like the gamepad patch or something, because you lose controls when it is in the bios menu, although i'm on yesterdays build

mine doesn't even with the newest build, i wish i didn't erase my build from yesterday, i dont want to have to reboot all the time because the screen wont show up
What screen?

Make sure you have it enabled
Boot any game, when the GC logo appears hold A to enter the BIOS MENU
