GCVerify doesn't rename titles. It only checks MD5 hashes. Origamii does but it's not finished yet. I've got a new build I'm making sure is stable that I can try to release this weekend.
What if it says Redump not found and the game still works. What are you looking for to verify that the iso is 1:1? Redump.org was not working when I tried to load itYes it does.
Wow that would be great!GCVerify doesn't rename titles. It only checks MD5 hashes. Origamii does but it's not finished yet. I've got a new build I'm making sure is stable that I can try to release this weekend.
THanks Zonta. That clears things up a ton!Yes you name disc.1 game.iso and disc 2 disc2.iso
Usb loader gx can read and list the game (assuming that they are named game.iso) with every folder name, example:
So the title id is not mandatory, but is recommended to put it in the folder name like
- "usb/games/NBA courtside 2002 usa version/game.iso"
- "usb/games/NBA courtside 2002/game.iso"
- "usb/games/nba courtside/game.iso"
This because (especially when you a lot of ISOs, i'm at 195) usb loader gx can read the id from the folder name speeding up a lot the listing process instead of opening ISO--->reading the id inside the iso--->close the iso, that slows down the entire process.
- "usb/games/NBA courtside 2002 usa version[GNBE01]/game.iso"
- "usb/games/NBA courtside 2002[GNBE01]/game.iso"
- "usb/games/nba courtside[GNBE01]/game.iso"
I don't know any software that do this thing, i edit them manually (searching the id at gametdb.com) with this format "Game name (region)[titleid]", like in the image attached where JAP is for japanese games, USA for USA games, PAL for PAL games only in english (or multilanguage but without italian), PAL ITA for the alternative PAL version with only my native language and PAL MULTI 4/5 for the PAL version with italian and other languages.
Wow that would be great!
Thanks for all the info guys! Grey, I have the complete 861GB set of GC games and can test your program if you like. Right now they are all extracted as full ISO's with the folder named exactly the same as the game iso. If it could scan the directory, rename all iso's to game.iso and rename the folders to [the game id] structure that would be absolutely amazing!!!
so you are the one doing testing in the future? lol i see alot of entrys with nintendont version 4.428 wich doesnt exist yet lol, nintendont latest version is 4.425.Then you can help me with this
https://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/Nintendont_Compatibility_List
In the last month i added/updated almost 200 entries![]()
I assume v4.428 refers to my PR, which FIX94 is still reviewing since it's a rather big PR.so you are the one doing testing in the future? lol i see alot of entrys with nintendont version 4.428 wich doesnt exist yet lol, nintendont latest version is 4.425.

EDIT: Still need to test the disc swapping issue when going from disc2 to disc1. If I can figure out what's breaking it, I'll add that to the PR (at which point it'll be v4.429).
That's EXACTLY what Origamii does. The app might be beta but I've been using it for some time now. And specially that rev in particular is super stable.( @GreyWolf take notice of the rev. Newer ones have more issues. )Wow that would be great!

Thanks for the info guys! What a great community here
whats the point of starting disc2 and then wanting to go back to disc1 anyway? doesnt make any sence, heck no one would do that with actual discs anyway xD, the swap works great for disc 1 to disc 2 wich is what everyone does since there is no reason to start dis2 when you dont have even a started a disc1 savegame.Yes i am. The revision showed is 4.428
Regarding this issue, copy and paste from my post on the official USB loader GX thread, maybe @FIX94 can be interested:
Tests done on all the GC 2 disc base games in the GC library, memory card disconnected to avoiding unwanted loadings, disc 2 booted, tryied to begin a new game, every game asks for disc 1, here the results:
- Baten Kaitos: Eternal wings and the lost ocean: Doesn't swap, Nintendont seems to be frozen because i cannot exit with Home or button combo
- Baten Kaitos Origins: Doesn't swap, Nintendont seems to be frozen because i cannot exit with Home or button combo
- Enter the matrix: Doesn't swap, Nintendont seems to be frozen because i cannot exit with Home or button combo (And the in game language selector doesn't work if forced in 480p, starts automatically in English)
- Killer 7: Doesn't swap
- Goldeneye Rogue agent: Doesn't swap
- Medal of Honor Rising sun: Doesn't wap
- Metal Gear Solid The twin snakes: doesn't swap
- Resident Evil: Doesn't swap
- Resident Evil Code veronica X: Doesn't swap
- Resident Evil 4: Doesn't swap
- Resident Evil 0: Doesn't swap
- Tales of Symphonia: Doesn't swap
- The lord of the rings The third age: Doesn't swap, Nintendont seems to be frozen because i cannot exit with Home or button combo
- Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos theory: Doesn't swap, Nintendont seems to be frozen because i cannot exit with Home or button combo
- Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent: Doesn't swap, Nintendont seems to be frozen because i cannot exit with Home or button combo.

Also yeah you are using a pull request not the acutal fix94 official 425, fix94 still hanst acepted the pull request so yeah official nintendont is only 425, and technicaly if fix94 aceepts the pullrequest it will be probably 426 xD.
The point is that i can play a game after a lot of time thinking that i was playing disc 2, but the save that i'm using is from disc 1 (because i don't remember well, because i'm a dumb, because i want to see if the swap works backwards, because of a lot of reasons) and then the swap doesn't work.
And i think that is useful that users report their issues, i'm not understanding why you're discouraging not only this but even a guy that spent a lot of time testing about it: i founded an issue and i'have reported it, i didn't say that was a big issue or that it makes the game unplayable, or even that it MUST be fixed.
If the next revision will be called 326 instead of 428 i will edit my entries, don't worry about it.
Are there any 2-disc games that go back to the first disc after you've moved to the second? There were only 23 two-volume games and I'm thinking their certification at least recommended not structuring the game to require swapping back and forth.

I should have said no Nintendont developer is interested in doing it yet. Sure we want it but unless there is a developer that wants to do it it won't get done. This is not true, a lot of people wants, is asking and waits for the broadband adapter emulation, not only for lan games, but for PSO too.
Thanks for the merge. I have a few more fixes for the new MD5 verifier being prepared. (Most notably, I seem to have left a bug in the Perl script used to generate the MD5 database that causes games with "&" to have truncated titles. Not a serious issue.)So, I've merged the pull request from @GerbilSoft as is, it is too much for me right now to go through each and every single change but from a overall review I did not immediately spot anything horribly broken or out of place so I think its ok to have it in, I will just trust you that it will be fine, I guess if anything suddenly is broken people will let us know.

Anyways, will be looking at the disc2 issue tonight and will send a PR if I can reproduce and fix the bug.
Disc swapping doesn't depend on settings, so that shouldn't be a problem. Same with region.Do you need my settings (console/nintendont) and/ore title id's of the games tested (but i don't think the issue depends from the region, i have experienced the issue with both PAL and US releases).
