so I did some analyzation today of the probelmatic usb device and the chances as of right now are slim to get it to work the way nintendont is currently operating. Basically it fails to reinitialize the device, in order to solve that I would most likely somehow directly have to load the kernel as soon as the loader starts which requires me rewriting a bunch of stuff.
Does this usb device you have there work before r230? What youre describing there sounds like something that has nothing to do with the changes in r230. So I guess this probably wont help the drives with init di freeze?

How necessary is this? Are people really too cheap to not get a compatable HDD and use their old one for backup/other things? There are plenty of HDDs that work, and they're not much more than 60 bucks. It's a small price to pay for livin the pirate life. :/

1) With Native Controller = Off using a Gamecube controller on the original Wii, the analog stick seems to be off center slightly to the right even when the stick is neutral. I've tested this with the F-Zero GX controller calibration tool and Melee's credits game. The same thing happens with a brand new GC Smash controller. However, the issue does not occur with Native Controller = On. But that disables the return to loader button combo which I use frequently. Does anyone else have this issue or know how to fix this?

I just tested this in F-Zero GX and can confirm that the non-native controls are off center a bit compared to native.

FIX94 I just tested F-Zero AX again, I don't know wither it's the y-cable or because I decided to mess up with the test menu before starting the game, or maybe it's just luck, but I got the game to save and load fine, started it multiple times and played a few races, seems to work fine, thanks!

I must have missed this post earlier, I use an av cable with a regular Wii and I still can't get either one of the games to work past 2.284 can somebody confirm if it's really the video cable?

PSO its not the cable i tryed both on my wii with the default cables and wiiu with hdmi and same issue

As my issue occurs with Wii component AV cables only and only with PSO Episode I&II Plus, I have a feeling that neither of your issues are the same as mine.

I think I have the exact same issuse as you but with Animal Crossing PAL, forcing any of the 60Hz modes
480i, 480p, PAL-M except PAL-60 results in a black screen via Component, PAL-60 also shows up as being 50Hz the same as 576i, isn't it meant to be 60Hz? all modes work via composite cable though.

Unfortunately, that is a different issue than mine. I use Nintendon't with all default settings, not forcing any video modes. My issue is that using component video with 2.284 or higher results in an error message, not a black screen.

I just tried removing the blue PB/CB line and it now results in me getting a b&w picture in all the NES games instead of completely black.

Woo progress
I had to switch video sources too as once I removed it, my tv recognised the signal as composite AV instead.
Oh... Well, sort-of-progress

fix already looked into that and nintendont doesnt use those things from what he said and even the dolphin devs dont have a 100% positive confirmation on what fixed it kinda fixed itself out randomly.
Maybe now that we know what the issue is (disc speed needs to be increased during loading screens) maybe he can make a patch to get around that with this particular game.

Hi folks. I just wanted to comment on an issue I had with X-Men Legends II on Nintendon't. The main game works for the most part, with the occasional crash here and there during the Danger Room missions. However, the game always freezes during Danger Room mission 404 when I'm exactly one second from completing the mission. Not a huge deal I suppose as this is an optional mission. But, failure to complete all Danger Room missions make it impossible to acquire Prof. X as a playable character.

Just thought I'd throw that out there. Love Nintendon't btw.
