problem must be with usb loadeg gx and way on it comunicates with nintendo loader - saves show up when te auto boot option is set to off...
Did you updated to 1218 mod1 ?
1218 uses the old (alpha version) nintendont settings layout. Some settings were removed/changed, so maybe an option is affecting a different one if you didn't update the loader.

I should really release a new svn for usbGX.

Yes - I am using 1218 mod1

Yes, Luigi's Mansion (PAL) works well with r35. Crashes disappear activating "Progressive Scan", but does not recognize my real memory card.

Pikmin (PAL) works well (no crashes), but it has the altered sound. The music works OK.

The saves work - so it probably is caused by nintendont itself - I managed to work saves - I am not tested it by "auto boot" setting yet. Main problem is when game saves and act like it is crashed showing "saving msg" wait for few seconds and hit reset button on wii - it back to main tittle - hit start again and your profile should appear - I managed to confirm this by checking numbers of "boo" ghost that I've captured. It is little pain because sometimes you must travel via whole mansion to get to place that you've "played" before.

GCMM has worked wonders for me on Wii U for saving. Has worked for every game (over 11) - even the ones with sound & freezing issues (was able to save pre-freeze, of course). Just disable mmc in nintendont, save. Then dL GCMM, put in apps folder. Go play your GC game.

But you can't save with GCMM

How did you format your Kingstone SD? If Nintendont was like Dios Mios (and I believe it is) then your SD must be formatted Fat32 32kb Cluster, though there's also a chance it could be the brand, Dios Mios Lite wouldn't work with certain SD brands like Sony (unless you're using the early builds), same for Dios Mios with HDD, my SD is 32GB Sand-Disk Fat32 32kb Cluster and works flawlessly with all 4 software (DML/QF/Devo/Nint)!

On a different topic, now that Wii hacking got to the point where it replaced almost all my older gaming consoles, I have a rather weird question to ask though, what are the chances of having a software to run Dreamcast games on Wii? would it be possible? I wouldn't say no to a VMU emulator or a Saturn one (I know Yabause is been unofficially ported to Wii but it's slow as a slug compared to the PC version).

Edit: new page, added previous quote!

I changed my SD card cluster size from 4kb to 32kb. Twilight works now and loads way faster than before. Thanks

Here, i made a configuration for the ps4 dualshock 4; its fully working.
Just for the record: I mapped the POWER button into the SHARE button; other than that, the mapping is similar to that of the ps3 and ps2 dualshock configurations
PD: Keep up the good work!

Hey, I've really been wanting to try Nintendont, but ever since I first downloaded it and tried to play Wind Waker on it, I've been getting this problem and I don't know how to fix it. Nintendont sees the game on my SD card, but when I attempt to play it, it goes to a black screen indefinitely, and my TV acts as though it's not getting any video. I don't know why this is happening, but the last time this happened, I spotted a -1 briefly before it went to the black screen, which I assume means the kernel failed to load. I tried going on the GBATemp chatroom for a quicker answer, but the people there were less than friendly. Maybe I can find some help here?

-1: Kernel failed to load
-3: HID init failed

0: ES init failed
1: SD init failed
2: FAT init failed
3: CFG init failed
4: HID init failed
5: DI init failed
6: CARD init failed (It will wait here while creating a new memory card)

Try another sd card format fat 32 with 32 clusters and report back please

I tried formatting the SD Card to FAT32, however, I can't set the cluster size to 32KB (presumably because this is a 2 GB card).
For 2GB and other small cards, 32k clusters will not be an option in FAT32 and you'll have to use FAT16 (which has the same compatibility with Wii stuff as FAT32 despite what many people apparently think).
Not really sure if it's needed/helpful for Nintendont but it can't hurt anything either.

I tried my first time running this from a backup loader and got a code dump. Running from HBC still works fine. Updated to the latest version and also got a code dump so I took pics, one from Wiiflow 4.2.1 and one from GX r1218mod1 but they were the same dump.

heh :P thanks :D

create or edit your meta.xml and add line <ahb_access/> or run dol via wiiflow.
Hi, I'm having the same problem. My meta.xlm already had this line. How do I run dol via wiiflow? I already tried copying the boot.dol and meta.xlm to the wiiflow/plugins folder. I also tried renaming the boot.dol to nintendont.dol but same results. I also opened the nintendont app from wiiflow (Homebrew apps plugin) and had the same result. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Odd GX worked fine for me from the first try!

I got a problem but as this thread is 111 pages it'll take longer to read every page than it will to ask and wait for an answer. (I did find some previous help at page 35)
I formatted my SD card to 32k FAT32.
I put all the files where they should be.
I can load it up, see the games ISOs but when I load one the number goes 4, then -3 then reboots the WiiU into WiiU mode. It kicks it out of Wii mode.
I did a google search for "Loading patched kernel -3" and it came up nothing.

What am I doing wrong?

-3 controller not recognized .
Go to the google page download the correct file for your controller . Rename it to controller.ini
Make sure it is plugged in when you start Nintendont .
