Got another small request

Can you make it where we can download save files from a repository from within the loader?

Specifically the ones in this thread
I see no benefit of doing so, using other's save is the exception, so not gonna happen in nintendont
however, I can add all the files to my repository to make them readily available, just need a big zip file with all those saves and I'll take it from there

I was learning more toward games like Melee and Double Dash where it can take awhile to unlock all the characters/karts

We can simply download them from within the loader then we have everything unlocked

ok new test dol for ping option: https://copy.com/EqDMivgfU7MVcPc0
enabled should be q 10 secs
please check both options

thx! :) is the same file posted in the thread nintendont?
I tested rogue squadron 2 with both options
Result: is always activated although select off.
The "beep sound" in the mission screen is here each 10 second after a few moments
I noticed that in Nintendont folder there a file called "noping.txt" ... however, is empty

noping file is used to detect if the option is on or off,
the problem is to find a way to tell the kernel about it, it looks like kernel main or global code is not able to find the file in the boot folder
in this case I need to add it to the common config
edit and if this fails too, I'll be left with adding a new setting which I was trying to avoid

We can always ask others to see if they would like to download 100% saves from within the loader?

I personally don't see this as a necessary feature. It's not something required to make the loader function, nor does it REALLY add to the experience, and in this case if you want a save, it's just as easy to ask, download and place. However, this is just my opinion

so test dol 1 was always off,
test dol 2 was always on, right?
if so I might fix this now

So here's my test 3 dol
no need for files on device
using OSreport option to ping every 10 secs (will be 2 mins later)
OSreport off = no ping
removed option from update menu it doesn't belong there anyway

Thanks again! :) :)
I tried both options (enabled and disabled) and works (10 seconds version)
That if...I still have some doubts:
- The original "OSReport" option was disabled?
I read that if it was in "ON" can cause errors in games (freeze):

- Default is off? (HDD ping disabled)
- "Wiiflow" reads that configuration?

Alright I have a few bugs to report. The first one is that the bios are being saved to the root of my HDD instead of the proper location. The second one is that for the Wii Theme, the NinBlack is a picture of the update menu. The third bug is that when launching Nintendont through HBC, the Loader theme shows up for a split second then goes to the device select screen. Oh and the latest update in the internal loader says v295 even though it said v296 when it was downloading.

BIOS files are supposed to extract to the root of the device you're storing games on
