MANY THANKS to JoostinOnline OverjoY crediar

Hello,
i have normal wii, and i know i can use DM or DML, but people with wii "horizzontal" can't do it, so is time to use nintendont!!!
But some wii have the -1kernel error problem! and the homebrew not work at all!

I have ask that to crediar, and him can't solve the problem (or other coder) without a debug info about the ERROR (-1kernel error / video shutdown)

http://www.multiupload.nl/IHH3JBJA7C (this is the nintendont full debug release, with usbgecko can dump the info about the error).
MIRROR#2 http://filebin.ca/18UL1sePIM6u/nintendont.zip
If some people have the knowledge for reproduce the error on wii and make a good debug DUMP please release the info on this thread!!!!!!

(that fix if happen maybe can help wiiU people too).

Another info about my wii:

Hollywood v0x21 (probably this wii have problem with nintendont)

USBGECKO+NINTENDONTDEBUGDOL+REPRODUCEERROR+DUMPLOG=fix error (ihope)

hmm, I am curious, you mentioned you can't use DM or DML with your wii 'horizzontal'. What do you mean? That you cannot use these soft-mods if your wii is sitting horizontally?

If so, that is nonsense!

I'm waiting on Nintendont but mostly because Dios Mios is a pain to setup an I cant afford to re-do my whole 1TB HDD. I cant wait to see progress :)

Newer Wii models (family Wiis) are made to sit horizontally (from the way the labels are positioned on the front of the console and the fact that they don't come with the stand to be able to mount them upright) Those same models don't have any ports to plug in a GameCube controller that previous models did have and those softmods NEED to play the games a gamecube controller.

Naxil tested your dol on my wii without error - maybe bacause i have wii with hc sockets? So we should try this test only on "newer" wiis without gc sockets. Maybe it is some way? But try another sdhc card - I know that you have sandisk 8 gb but we also should minimalise all errors.

wiewcw i have 3 sd card (1 sdhc, 1mini with adapter, and one non -sdhc 2gb) and i have the same -1kernel error)
if some people have the same error and can provide a good debug dump, can help for solve that problem

I know naxil but try get some another sdhc card even 4 gb etc, we should eliminate SD as cause - i use cheap transcend sdhc card and everything is ok. Then we should make another test on Wii without gc sockets.

For now i think it could be card because WiiU not have MIOS and nintendont is working ok, because nintendo translates gc games to wii cpu instructions.

wiewcw can u show me your sd tree? i want see all sd folder (games and apps and root file)

The lack of the stand may make RVL-101 seem like it was meant to lay flat, but it doesn't have to any more than an RVL-001 without a stand. You can still make it vertical if you want, the only difference in the case is instead of doors hiding GC ports, they have that side sealed (if you take it apart, there are even still holes under there in the case where the GC stuff would've gone). They'll still stand up on their sides, though I don't know why anyone does that with any system (even with a stand).

Of course you can position either model in almost any position and they'll function properly but, besides the stand, I was mostly judging Nintendo's intentions by the position of the word "Wii" on the front of the consoles

But either way, this is what he was referring to, that it's simply the newer model with no GC ports.

another question, HOW to compile nintendont under linux? i have the / problem on nintendont (only works on windows)

no way.... -1 kernel error is here... lol iam very unlucky with that homebrew...

Is your SD card formatted with Panasonic formatter? Try a different sd card like a 2gb non Sdhc . I have always had good luck with scandisk.

people, today i have try to launch nintendont from homebrewfilter (like HBC but with IOS selection), the strange is, if i select the ios58 i get STUCKDUMP.
I have talk with FIX94 about -1 kernel load error, and probably some go wrong with SD (double strange, because my sd work very well under hbc and probably i use the same ios58 right?)

STACK DUMP
812b16dc --> 812b1668 -->812854f0 --> 81280348 -->
81298764 --> 81298714

is enough?

i have mod my wii system menu with theme... that's mod touch in some way ios58?

EaseUS Partition Master Home, or Panasonic SD Formatter for setting up your SD card. If you have verified with EaseUS your sd card is Fat 32 with 32KB clusters than your SD card isn't supported . I currently run Nintendont on my Wii i do not own a WiiU you currently.
Tested 2gb scandish SDHC working
8Gb sd scandisk sdch working
16gb Sony class 10 Working

what bm? i use linux but i can run WIndows7...
If my sd card have 32kb cluster isn't supported???? but the cluster size is a value.. and i can change it... sorry but i haven't understand what u mean,..
