I thought I'd set up a GIT Repository to store all user-created Nintendont controller-configurations.

Currently there are the default ones + DRaGMaRe's configuration for the Trio Linker v1. Feel free to provide new ones, if you have a GitHub-Account you can send me a pull-request, instead of a forum-post here, too.

Please only post questions regarding or controller-configurations here, not about Nintendont or whatever (there are plenty of threads already).

You can find the GIT Repository here: https://github.com/Nanolx/nintendont-controller

Now we need someone who writes a short how-to for hidtest.

Is there one for a Rock Candy Xbox 360 controller? That is the only one I have and I really want to play GC games.

Is there one for the Atari 5200 controller?
I have my big brother's console from the 80's stored away and I really want to play GC games.

For those who want to play the n64 injected gc games with the original n64 controller, here is the configuration for the mayflash usb adapter.

N64 ADAPTER MAYFLASH]
VID=0E8F
PID=3013
Polltype=1
DPAD=0
DigitalLR=1
MultiIn=1
MultiInValue=01
Power=0,80

B=5,40
X=0,80
Y=0,80
Z=6,10

Right=7,02
Up=7,01

DownRight=0,7F
DownLeft=0,7F
UpLeft=0,7F
StickX=3
StickY=4
CStickX=2
CStickY=1
LAnalog=0
RAnalog=0

Note: The diagonals, X and Y, are configurated to be "blank" and I used the usb port 2
Note 2: I tested the C buttons on the TIme Splitters, they respond like it was a analog, but I dont know why when I press C left, the response it's to move to the right

It just came yesterday but doesn't work with the vWii. I found somewhere saying that I need to have SSB4 in order for the adapter to work. Is this true? I currently don't have the game.

false, tha was like on week 1 before we found he activation code, if your using latest nintendont version 385 you only need the adapter and a gc controller.

i use Generic USB_HID controller. Is possible to make deadzone on config? sometimes when i press left analog stock on right then release it can keep a pressing few right

Someone could help me? I want to play mario sunshine but you need the right trigger pressed halfway but the command to use (Saitek P880) will not push in half by the HIDtest does not detect someone could tell me if there is any way to use the average trigger function somehow?
PS: Below'll let my controller.ini

Hi, I have an issue, I connected my generic Ps3 USB controller to the Nintendont, and it aumotatically recognizes it, but when I am trying to play Mario Sunshine, some buttons are ok, but others not that much, specially the C STick( it doesnt work), and also the L analog (cannot run while spraying).

So I connected it, and I came up with this:

NORMAL:

7F 7F 00 80 80 0F 00 00

[PS3 Generic)
VID=06A3
PID=0109
Polltype=1
DPAD=1
DigitalLR=1

A= 5,1F
B= 5,2F
X= 5,4F
Y= 5,8F
Z=
L= 6,10
R= 6,01
S= 6,20
Power= 6,20
Left= 0,0
Down= 1,FF
Right= 0,FF
Up= 1,0
RightUp= 0,FF
DownRight= 1,0
DownLeft= 00
UpLeft= FF
StickX= 2
StickY= 2
CStickX= 5
CStickY= 5
RAnalog= 6,02
LAnalog= 0

I have some questions, I do not know what should I write in these fields:

VID=06A3
PID=0109
Polltype=1
DPAD=1
DigitalLR=1
Up= 1,0
RightUp= 0,FF
DownRight= 1,0
DownLeft= 00
UpLeft= FF
StickX= 2
StickY= 2
CStickX= 5
CStickY= 5
RAnalog= 6,02
LAnalog= 0

If I do not have enough buttons, what should I write? or how Can I fix the running while spraying?

I will really appreciate your help,

Regards, Dan,

@Excelsiior I'm trying to make a controller ini file for a Mayflash Sega Saturn / PSX / N64 adapter. I've recorded all of the inputs returned by HIDTest, but have two questions.

First, how do I record inputs where two pieces of information change? For example, on the Sega Saturn port the neutral string without any button pressed is 00 00 0F 80 80 80 80 00.

Pressing UP on the dpad changes this value to 00 10 00 80 80 80 80 00.
Pressing DOWN changes this value to 00 40 04 80 80 80 80 00.

And so on with the other directions. LEFT = 00 80 06... and RIGHT = 00 20 02...

My other question is how to deal with the three input ports. Do I simply make a set of inputs for each controller type within the same ini file? How do I indicate that Port 1 (PSX) is being used instead of Port 2 (Sega Saturn) or Port 3 (N64)?

Once I sort these two things out, I should have another working configuration to contribute.
