    Nintendogs Blamed for Child Mauling
Daily Mail links animal attack to Nintendo's innocuous pet sim
    Source: IGN

This looks kind of ridiculous but well you never know what could happen. Imagine that the 3DS will scared dogs because of the 3D effect LoL. You you guys think about this. It's pretty serious but doesn't actually makes me think it was because of the barking in the game.

The dog was later destroyed [IMG]

.. anyway this has happened before and will keep happening, its horrible to hear but the truth of the matter some breeds can be dangerous and so people should be more careful with children around animals, even domestic ones like dogs

Well... I don't know, imo, a barking dog, is a talking chinese to me [IMG]
    I can't understand it.
They've got their own language, and dogs... Probably too, but simplified.
You never know what the dogs were barking for when their audio was recorded @ wherever it was recorded.

But I'm quite sure this isn't true, I have already tried if my dog would react to nintendogs.
It (SHE'S A SHE ALRIGHT! stupid English [IMG] ) won't react at dogs on the tv either, and their barking is a lot more realistic [IMG]
And the smallest bark she hears (yeh, no it >:D) makes her react, doing random stuff [IMG]
Barking back, running... barking.. yeh [IMG]

Sorry ,but blaming the game for a possibility to this is like 1 to 0 out of ten [IMG]

Do not quote me on that [IMG]

yeah It's not really believable but I will consider it a crime from the mother and father because they where not aware of what the poor child was doing with the pet. It's not the game itself.

    Probably being lazy.
    Society these days....

Lets just blanket-blame video games....after all society is too un-imaginative and blind to consider anything else.

Oh, and I love this. Lets destroy the dog, lets euthanize it instead of educating the kid. Great solution people...

I would like to bet that the reason why the dog attacked her wasn't Nintendogs, she probably did kick it as the article suggested.

Sheesh, crap like this gives me less and less hope for society, absolutely pathetic.

So there's a Bull Mastiff that'll attack with only verbal provocation... and it being around little girls seemed like a good idea?

I can only hope that the one who blames Nintendogs is harmed severely.

Exactly. Thats the main point for me.

Why didn't they just get a family friendly dog like a golden retriever?

Plus the fact that the Daily Mail scare mongers about anything these days.

Or maybe you have a crazy fucking dog. Stop blaming video games. That is so April 20th, 1999.

If it was a violent dog it should be put down but if someone hits a dog and it attacks it shouldn't be put down.

"The Daily Mail attributes the attack to the sounds of barking emanating from Megan's DS "game station" during a bout of Nintendogs"

The Daily Mail is the news paper equivalent of Fox News.

If it comes from the Daily Fail or The Scum, then don't pay it any mind, both papers are rags.

Get a small dog like a terrier, not no bull mastiff or better yet train your dogs to act properly around hyperactive little girls.
