The fact that Sky3DS offers their own headers, as Axido stated, is the reason why some games don't work online. The headers they provide are no good sometimes. It's not Nintendo blocking anything, it's Sky3DS being bad.

I was talking about you people claiming that Sky will never be blocked.. It's annoyingly false. It comes off as ironic as you were just wishing that Gateway fanboys would stop blindly bashing Sky... I totally get it when people say that the gateway has all these features and such above the sky3ds, but that doesn't make the sky3ds bad. If people bought the product, they got what they paid for. And what they paid for is a quality product that does what it's designed to do.

Both flashcarts can get patched. It's not certain to say "will", but there's so much fear mongering. Why scare people when all they wanna do is play?

I am a GW user and I'm not saying delightful things about it and bashing the other cards.

Who the fuck cares if one user has a Gateway or a Sky3DS?
Just fucking use it and shut it. No need to pester the others in here saying BS every goddamn day.

If you paid for a certain card, then props to you, you chose it and you know what you paid for.
If you didn't choose the other, fine, but don't try to drag others into taking your choice or defending one product over the other just because of one feature or another.

To each their own, just know the fucking limit between minding your own business and starting to bother and annoy others in your own ways.

I'm indifferent BTW, Sky is for people in the latest FW/don't want to mess around too much and don't care about extra features situation, GW is for the old FW more technically minded people. I personally pick GW, but I'm not a "fanboy". It's just the one that's more suited for me.

I picked Sky because my firmware was already on the latest one by the time I joined the whole flashcart scene

The issue ppl have is that you need to be online to do it, or have some device that can serve up HTML web pages.

The Web exploit is only needed once, you can downgrade and apply the old DS Profile userland exploit to run the Gateway from there on.

Yes, that's correct, but the way he said it, it sounded like all you need is browser + bookmark which obviously isn't the whole story
