Hello!
Immediately I want to apologize for my English, this is not my native language.

Faced such a problem, bought a Nintendo Wii Japanese version in which PAL games were used (old). And when I entered the settings, I had an error Opera browser. Since I did not know the firmware version, I bought the Mario Kart Wii and flashed the console to the current version, but the opera error still remains.

Please help me to hack my console (I don’t know my mac address)

Getting Your Gaming Console's MAC Address: Wii

1. Start your Wii, without a disc.

2. Click the Wii button at the bottom of the start screen.

3. To the right, click Wii Settings.

4. Go to the Next Set of settings, by selecting the arrow on the right.

5. Click Internet.

6. At the bottom of the screen, select Console information.

7. The MAC Address will then come up on the next page.

You'll need to use a different exploit other than letterbomb or wilbrand if you can't get the console's Mac address. If it's connected to your wifi you should be able to pull it's Mac address from your router's settings.

Anyway, str2hax probably won't work for you either since you say you can't get into your settings. Flashhax might work if you can access the internet channel.

All the other exploits require a specific disc/game - these are all listed in ModMii's main wizard. Most of these require you to copy a save file from SD card to the internal nand, which also requires a working settings menu so that doesn't help. The only one I can think of that for sure should work is super smash bros brawl since that just loads a modified stage and doesn't require copying over a save file.

If this was modified before you can check to see if it has bootmii installed as boot2 or priiloader already installed. If you can load into either of these, we are in business, but honestly this feels like a long shot. If u updated the system menu to 4.3 it would have uninstalled priiloader. However just because you were able to update the console doesn't mean it updated the system menu (i.e. It could have already been on 4.3 but still update other IOSs).

So to test this, try holding reset immediately after powering on the wii. If priiloader is installed by some miracle it's main menu will load.

And to test if you have bootmii installed as boot2, save the bootmii folder to your sd card, insert it in your wii, and power on the console. Download the bootmii folder from here: http://static.hackmii.com/bootmii_sd_files.zip

So, I haven't preload, looks like 4.3 system menu installed.
My lost "hope" to find super smash bros brawl I think?
