Basicly everything in the media is to try and get as much hype going for another system.

Take the PS3 will be here for 10 years , if you sell it for $600 and you divide it by 10 you sorta get a good investment.

Most of the people who are speculating and are allways wrong have financial ties (directly or indirectly) towards company X or Y.
Look at how many are saying positive things about Sony ?
Look at how few are actually blasting MS for their flawed hardware design and trying to sell broken systems.

Some games will kill the Wii , Halo 3 killed the Wii , GTA IV killed the Wii.

Well, great thing is that now the Wii's jumped in, Microsoft and Sony have no excuse to just pump up the graphical juice. Expect them to make attempts to overthrow the Wii of its dominance over the casual market.

its too bad the casual market is headed for the drain.
and wii is too if 3rd party's don't stop making completely sucktackular motion sensing controls and tossing graphics to the wind.
im not saying that graphics make a game, but there is something to be said about them.
