Nintendo of America CEO Reggie Fils-Aime has recently said that user-generated content is the future of interactive entertainment, and so Nintendo's gonna hop right onto that bandwagon. He didn't say any details but he had this to say:

"The era of passive entertainment is waning, active entertainment is where the action is. Entertainment consumers are moving from react to interact. Now fortunately form the start this shift has worked to the advantage of everyone at videogames. It is who we are… Videogames have always been at the front lines of active entertainment and its revolution."

I'm a bit lost here, so does that mean will most of the Wii and DS/DSi games going to be interactive or something?
