Hi

I bought a faulty Nintendo Switch and the guy who sold me it told me he didn´t open it (lies). If I plug the USB C tester I get 0.52A

Once I opened it I realized it had a reflow in the CPU and when I removed the shield I saw a lot of missing cap in the CPU. Checking for shorts I just find one in a cap near the MAX77812 chip but if I remove it I still get a "short" but if I plug the usb tester I get 0.15A. Maybe the chip is faulty? I think it is a power regulator

On the other hand, maybe even changing the MAX77812, the "reflow" had damaged the CPU, what do you think? I atach some pics. Thanks in advance

Do you think it would worth to replace the MAX77? Or should I remove first to see if the short gone

Still shorted. I have seen one of the cap in the tegra SoC is also shorted, maybe both are related. Is there any way to see diagrams of the board? I attach the pic of the cap shortes in the tegra SoC

Put the missing capacitors and try to reball the Tegra SoC

As much I could do a reflow also. I have a Quick 2008 hot air station but not a reballing station. I think maybe is a stupid question but is there any cheap reballing station to start?

Capacitors I think I read they are 0210 1uF
