when the listing was up, the other suggested items including more switches at low prices, ps4, xbox ones all for similar money, hopefully people read feedback, look at dates of sales, purchases to see if something odd shows up, if the listing was removed, how about the nearly 200 people that bought into it? as you cant file a dispute with eBay for an item that doesnt exist? or is that how the scam works? as you would have to deal with paypal and fight that way, which should be easy in theory

When clear scams like these show up and you know that it's a scam, please do not buy into it "just to see what happens".

Yes, you could wait for nothing to arrive and then file a PayPal dispute, but there's the possibility that they send you the product's box with something else (brick?) inside and when you file the claim, they accuse you of putting the brick in there and scamming them, preventing you from completing your claim. They'll have the postage receipts to prove they sent you the package, as the receipt does not confirm the actual contents of the package.

There's also the possibility they're selling stolen goods, which can later be remotely locked down by the owner.

By agreeing to the sale, you're also providing the scammer with your real name and address. If it's a genuine seller then that's fine, but if it's an obvious scammer then you really shouldn't be giving them that information.
