A new Nintendo Switch firmware has arrived. System software version 17.0.0 is now available to download. According to the official patch notes, there's not much of substance to the update, despite its new milestone version number; it's simply the traditional stability updates. It does, however, patch Atmosphere, with the CFW not working on the latest OFW. SciresM is currently working on support for 17.0.0, though a new update may be slightly delayed.

I'll be working to get Atmosphere updated for 17.0.0 as soon as I can.

Is it safe to run the Atmosphere prerelease version?

I've got my V1 unpatched stock with 17.0.0, yesterday I've ran hekate v6.0.6 and run Emummc generation. Hekate in theory should support until 16.1.0 but I think it worked for me.
Any tip welcomed, thanks.

I don't think that'll work. The issue isn't atmosphere, it's hekate as it's not compatible with 17.0.0, therefore I cannot boot into stock to let my system dump an updated warmboot mariko module that matches the fuses and resolves the sleep mode issue. Unless I'm missing something in how this works.

It won't boot my stock 17.0.0, as I keep getting a pkg1 error, and I've completely replaced atmosphere with the pre-release.

Your problem is that you update your sysnand firmware before 17.0.0 came out.

Hekate as far 2023 oct 13th at 00:48 UTC do not support booting FW 17.0.0 you can boot hekate -> fuse.bin or directly fuse.bin

you can boot OFW, from Power off menu of Hekate.

Or run CFW booting Fuse.bin

I do not recommend to boot into OFW but if you like:

to boot into fuse.bin, copy the latests fuse.bin on your sd card SD:/BOOTLOADER/PAYLOADS folder and then inside Hekate use launch payloads and search it.
