Nintendo is starting to outsource their customer support team as a apparent cost cutting measure. While I still love Nintendo, me being fed up with their prices and the fact their new team is so hard to understand on the phone (which I had noticed before this became known about), I decided to post this number. Given the hours that Nintendo operates the phones, I understand it would be expensive to pay their agents in these uncertain times, but whatever

They have a number to talk to a supervisor customer support agent, which is 1 (877) 803-3676, 7 days a week, 6am-7pm Pacific. This number lets you skip their waitlist.

Please be nice to them. I've called the number before and they kindly asked to not use the number unless you have a case number. If you need one, try something like 2203xx-0000xx.

Use it wisely if you're in a bind. Also, I'm having better luck with their chat service

Good luck

In all seriousness, while costs are likely part of it, I wouldn't be surprised if this was also partly due to the current US political situation, and that Nintendo as a foreign entity wants to distance themselves away from it. Just look at what happened at a Hyundai-operated plant recently.

That's an US country code. It would be so fucking expensive if I was to do an international call from Europe to the US.

My carrier charges 50¢ per minute for international calls to Region 2 (US, Canada, Australia, etc.) with an option to pay $2.50 per month to bring the rate down to half.

Is there an equivalent with an European country code?

Super Mario Bros. 3 launched in February 1990 in the US for $49.99. When adjusted for inflation that's $123.37 in 2025. Mario Kart World is an absolute bargain by comparison. And actually $80 games (like Mario Kart World and DK Bananza) are exactly the same price as $60 games in 2017, like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Given that you are one of the biggest distributers of Nintendo 🏴‍☠️ pirated🏴‍☠️ games (❤️thank you, by the way❤️), you really shouldn't be complaining about prices of games anyway. So...

Switch 2 shipped in June at $449
Switch $299 in 3/2017 = $395 today
Wii U $349 in 11/2012 = $488
Wii $249 in 11/2006 = $400
Gamecube $199 in 11/2001 = $361
N64 $199 in 9/1996 = $406
SNES $199 in 8/1991 = $470
NES $179 in 10/1985 = $531

Switch 2 is a bargain, which is why it is the fastest selling gaming machine of all-time.

And since the Switch 2 debuted, Sony and MSFT have increased the prices of their ancient PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
